Almost all of them. I was practically raised by attenborough (figuratively speaking) alongside all other doco makers. I think we pay far less attention to those we share the planet with than we should. You can learn a lot from them
But Jesus uh mmm:
Otters Sharks Painted dogs Orca All gibbons Elephants All the big cats Owls
Fucking all of them.
There’s only one creature I regard with great repulsion and that’s a Bobbit. If you don’t know what a Bobbit is….go find out and watch some footage. The most ancient and evil looking predatory worm this planet has ever thrown out * shudders*

I love scorpions too.
I used to live in Arizona. So I was scared of them. But I always thought they were the coolest. Pinchers, and a stinger. Some species glow-in-the-dark. Which is how you would check for them.

I did say “almost”.
Ticks I can dig if they’re on me, but not on the pet dog or cat of a friend. I actually have a softspot for leeches, as their movements and form strike me as curious and entirely alien. Waving their faceless cutting head around in the air before moving like a black liquid slinky up your boot until they hit pay dirt and give you an anticoagulant…
Super cool. fleas can jump the equivalent of a nine story building. Mosquitoes can walk on water. I could equivocate so many human behaviours with the parasitical slice of the species pie, too.
So let’s continue the love:
Golden tamarind Red panda King cobra Sugar gliders echidna Leopard seal Harpy eagle Clouded leopard Blue fin tuna
….all right I’ll start posting pics as well *rolls eyes, talks to a toucan and slams the door shut behind him*.
For the record I eat animals I love. I love cows, calves especially. I’ve been licked stupid by a pair and found a high most drugs can’t match. Same goes if you’re around a couple of joyful dogs. The remedy to your daily blues is this:
1. Lie on the ground and shut your eyes or wear swimming goggles 2. Let the dogs lick your face and love you uncontionally. 3. Laugh and breathe out.
Anyhow, I’ve also seen a great white shark shred the entire right side of a fur seal after a failed breaching, then watched as the dying pup made for the boat we were on. A few people vomited while the seal bled out, crying. It was exceptionally rough, but the shark did not miss the second time.
You could string a low volt electrical cable across a narrow bay and “power” it with a 9volt battery and sharks can sense it. I wouldn’t have a clue if I was about to step into a puddle holding 40 000 volts.
