Hello,
I live to the west of Atl, I was wondering if anyone has ever found cubensis this far north? There are cow farms all over the place here I just want to make sure they even grow up this far before I go trespassing.

Should be there, do a little recon, take a red-lensed flashlight at night, and being dropped off w/a field radio lessens the chance of the farmer waiting at your car when you return.
Happy hunting, nono

I think its best if you ask the farmer permission to look at his fields.

Yeah they are definitely in atlanta. However, some foods don't produce them even if conditions are ideal. Also cubes won't grow on some parts of the field. It takes persitance to find the perfect field.

Good luck with that "asking permission" and all. Most of the farmers in my area know what you're there for and take a pretty dim view of it.
Maybe it'll work for you.....

^^its not like you have to tell them you are going on their field to get shrooms. Ask if you can go and collect some dung, and you would be happy to give a few dollars towards your time being there Make sure to tell the farmer that you are looking for the drier/older dung, that way when the guy see's you skipping over a lot of pies, he will understand. Collect some dung! if you dont need it, who cares, hopefully you find shrooms. I have recently done this and it worked on the first farmer I asked. Surely you can find a farmer that will say yes to that. Even you said that "most" farmers will say no, that still leaves a small percentage that will say yes. now get out their and get some shit! -J

MadSeasonAbove: May I collect some dung, Mr. Farmer? Mr. Farmer: What for? MadSeasonAbove: uh, er, mm, School? Project, yeah Mr. Farmer: It's summer MadSeasonAbove: Uh, sure it is :runs away:
Try say, if it's lightly forested, "my dog ran in here, and im just tryin to find him (little dog, chihuahua, poodle, etc) but if the collectin dung thing works, you should ask that farmer to buy some shrooms from him, bc if he believes your collectin his cows shit he must be hallucinating =P

Hippy kid: Hey, I live down the road, I was wondering if I could get some manure from your field for my moms garden.
Farmer to wife: What a nice young boy, helping out his mother, there should be more of these happy-to-help kids around.
Farmer to hippy kid: Sure thing son, just remember to close the gate on your way out.

My experience was when someone is stomping around the property with out permission I go and meet them with a gun... I will always gladly show someone where to look... and what to look for as long as they come to the door first.
