My subtrops love it wet, but they also want a lot of fresh air. It looks like you are in a bag inside an unmodified tub there. I find that the caps don't get big or spore well unless the get lots of air.
Not enough air = small caps and few spores Not enough water = caps that curl and few spores
But that is all from one line of subtrops. So all of that could be pheno specific. It looks like I will have more info about other phenos soon.

Agreed. As I’ve toyed around with different things I’ve observed that high FAE consistently translates to more robust fruits. Thick stipes & larger caps.

Sorry, my house is yellow so I only have experience with tubs.

Others seem to do nicely with tents and whatnot.

I love them. Goes to show that there’s still a whole world of unique genetics waiting to be found. What collection are these from?

Second Round is finished with the first flush. Some big boys in this tub. Interestingly this tub kept getting flooded yet it was the best of the bunch. By Flooded I mean standing water (see picture #4). Somehow, no matter how hard I tried the drip from the mister always lands in this tub. These are running true to form with ~40 Days S2B to finished.
All look way different from first round.

Thanks for sharing.
Similarly, my first monotub of semps I had inadvertently floated, with water collecting under the liner. They stayed that way for over a month, and were happy.
More evidence that semps and zaps love it wet.
An interesting experiment might be just how wet they can get and still do well...
How close can we get to Psathyrella aquatica
