Just got different genetics from a user on here. First pin seen at 2 weeks. Kind of hard to tell knots with nats. All my past tubs looked to knot but never pinned or fruited.

So I've had dehydrator problems, and can't seem to get my nats cracker dry.
Right now they are papery and malleable. Any advice or ideas?

Last genetics I had and maybe 10% of my new ones dry like packing peanuts, no matter how long I dry for if it’s 24hrs you’ll be fine.

What would you say you did differently this time? Or do you think it’s just genetics?

Yep my isos are all like that. They’re either spongey or have what looks like grey tissue paper inside
One guy I gave some to threw them away when he broke them open and saw the insides

They stayed that way, that’s why I just dry nats for 24hrs to be certain, others I just do by feel.

Yeah they store fine. If I remember I’ll dig some up tomorrow and take a picture.
Specifically ones like this have a very weird consistency

I’m having so much fun growing nats. I put spores to agar in Aug 2023. Some of the T1 and T2 plates had overlay, some pinned. I used MudaFuka pint jars and got some fruits. I used Munchausen’s recipe (I saw his video on YouTube before it was removed and I can’t find it posted on Shroomery). Then I put up a big bunch of 8 oz deli dish Mud/Munch, each with a full plate of agar. After colonization I topped them with coir then put them in a water tub with the lid off center for extra fae. The next tub used the lid from my old SGFC and a couple open pint jars of water for humidity.

The house is dry AF, humidity about 30%. Wow, have they been growing! I have about 80 g dry, half in capsules. With a little bottom water the shallow dishes are usually fruiting a second round and some going to the third. I have plins of plins going to grain. Shoeboxes are next on the nat project board. Photos are in my Grow log.
