Habitat What kind of trees were nearby? What was it growing from?
Front of business grass healthy yard soil
* Location Where in the world was it?
Florida Central in grassy soul in front of well landscaped business they mow often I'm shocked they grew there
* Gills What do they look like? Always try to take photos that show the gills of both young and mature mushrooms.
In pictures
* Stem Carefully dig it out of the ground so you can get a picture of the whole thing.
Pictures see below
* Spore print color (if you have time)
Haven't yet * Scent of the mushroom.
* Color that the mushroom bruises when damaged.
Yellowish orange * Anything else you might find important

My thought as well. In situ shots would support that I'm pretty sure.

Print on glass so you can change the background color as needed. Stay unbiased even though your hopefull

I'm not an expert by any means, but to me the gill attachment suggests Gymnopilus.

Gill attachment on these looks decurrent to me. In some spots the gills have been eaten by bugs which makes them look less decurrent

Omphalotus subilludens for the first one, not enough information in the second picture for me to suggest a genus.
