All my speciosas died, lost my hirsuta too. Just got my aerocloner setup as well so I hopefully I can source some cuttings soon to get a collection going again.

I have two kratom plants I've had for many (7?) years that were gifted to me from someone here. I keep them in a greenhouse in the summer and move them inside under fluorescent lights during winter (Canada). These two plants are in the same growing space, and there is a draft occassionally when the door opens but that had never been an issue before. One of them dropped almost all of its leaves in November and I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to mess with it by fertilizing but I haven't fed them anything for a good while now (probably close to 2 years). All I can think of is to take cuttings of the healthy one but I don't have a good success rate with kratom cuttings.

Does anyone think this plant will bounce back? Is there anything I can do to help it?

Thanks in advance. Really don't want to lose them. Lost my salvia I had since 2006 during summer 2022 and I'm still sad about it. At least kratom is easier to get in Canada, but still.

How old is the potting soil?
Could try replanting into fresh soil or make a mini greenhouse by putting it in a sealed bag.

It's probably quite old. I think I got it in 2018 or 2019. Pro mix as a base, diluted with more perlite for drainage and enriched with some worm castings and then added some organic 4-4-4 to it. I would occasionally give them cal-mag and top feed them with 4-4-4 as well. Being winter, the rest of my promix is frozen under a deck but I could dig it out, I still have some worm castings (not frozen) and gaia green (I think is the brand) 4-4-4, and 15-0-0 (blood meal?).

I also have some fabric pots, I feel they're a lot better than the plastic ones but they're bigger and don't really have much space of this plant. I could try removing it from the pot, trimming the roots and getting it into fresh soil mix but I am afraid of the shock of doing that while it's already suffering.
