The food over here is insanely good. I've been eating a lot everyday.
Family over here has been cooking food everyday. Compared to canada the food costs next to nothing. Things back there got really expensive and almost nothing tastes or smells as good. When I eat here it actually feels good and it doesn't make you swell up or feel bad. You eat it and actually feel good
Even the fruit and vegetables here taste like something unreal to me. It tastes like it's supposed to from a real garden. Where I don't think I want to go back to canada
There's something about the food in Europe that tastes a lot better. They really know what they are doing over here. Everything is a 5 star gourmet meal
Went to this dinner party like a wedding. They kept bringing out plate after plate of all of this amazing food. Where I literally couldn't eat every plate they had to offer. It was insain in the best way. I couldn't believe and don't know how they kept bringing it
Where as in canada everything may as well be a child's menu. Just get ripped off there
Was chilling out in the back of their kitchen with a glass of wine and it's really nice in there
My friends told me I needed to eat so I've been listening. Bicycling up mountains and going through all of these ancient streets. Finding abandoned ancient stuff. Having a fire inside everyday
Found all of these wild dogs and seen a cat fight. It feels like a real life cartoon.
It even seems like people are a lot more about coming together here and being together. Where it's something else to see happiness and true celebration
I appreciate the old school culture and way. I dont even think they understand how much i appreciate it
I'm definitely coming here for good to just go chill out on the beach and in the mountains. Going to really live and appreciate life. Should just leave everything behind. It'll take some time but be worth it

Maybe you’ve just been getting bad groceries in Canada.

Something about it seriously tastes better just like a fresh home grown garden in everything
I'm from the tomatoe capital of cananda where we have almost all of the greenhouses. They don't taste like tomatoes at all. producing 752,685 metric tons of vegetables they dont taste like it
It almost feels like I left society and the craziness. There is no fast food or anything like that. Just a few small bars is all for espresso
It's a big relief not passing by a million fast food places everywhere you look. The closest thing I'd go for to fast food is shwarma or anything Arabic

Because they don't put chemicals in the food there.

For sure we got a bunch or wild oranges growing everywhere right now and it's warm here all day. 20C 68F today back in canada is -4C 24F which is warm for there right now
Hate to even compare the two. I kind of have to and everything here is better. Trying to make really big changes
My favorite one is cactus pear. They grow everywhere on the sides of the roads. It's like a pomegranate and a pear put together. You'll find them in a lot in places like Mexico or the Caribbean
It's cool here because you have sea level and the ocean. Not far off the mountains go to a altitude of 1,928 metres. I pick lots of mushrooms up around there
When it snows in the winter you can ski and snowboard there. Which is nice for the southern region. All of the trees are really interesting. As you go up everything's changes
I was just up there and it's the perfect bicycling spot as well. Everything smells really nice and you can drink ice cold water out of the ground all year

Yeah there is something up with it
Only feel delighted from over eating lots of what I'd call junk food. Nothing feels bad for a while now
Canada is supposed to have better food then the usa but if I did this there I'd be messed up because I've done it
I'm sure the fat will come if I keep it up for a long time.
Even ate a giant bag of assorted chocolate and there must have been 100 pieces of all kinds of really good stuff in there like hazelnut and pistachio creams
Just that bag was 3,000 calories and I ate it a week ago as a snack. Not to regret a piece but really enjoy it. It must have been a lot of fat and sugar as well

I missed it. Where are you? Italy?
My wife and I have been talking about moving to Sardinia in a few years. They definitely eat healthier in Italy and just about anywhere actually. Sardinia has some of the healthiest people on earth. Beautiful beaches and mountains too. The cost of living is also significantly less than the US.
Over here, my wife and I have been doing a vegetarian diet for a while. Also, avoiding processed foods. As it turns out, it’s quite difficult here. Avoiding all the processed foods anyways. Going out to eat, we find few options. Some places around here don’t have a single thing on the menu without meat.
But I have felt amazing. I told my wife I’d give it three days tops. I’m several weeks in now and looking forward to continuing. I’ve always had heartburn issues. Never go anywhere without Tums and I’d chew them a couple times a day at least. I haven’t had to chew a Tums in three weeks. Unheard of for me. I’ve also been on blood pressure medicine for years. I started noticing that I’d get tired and weak after taking it sometimes. I finally realized that my blood pressure was actually normal and that when I took my pill, my blood pressure was going too low. I’m sleeping better and feel like I’m breathing better.

That's good Sardinia looks the same as here. I'm glad you're feeling better I'd move there : )
Love the ocean and the mountains. I'm used to living on one of the great lakes but you can't swim in it. I never have or will
I've been in the southern region of Italy. Was heading as far north as possible tomorrow. There isn't many jobs here so lots of people move north. I heard it's more expensive there and it's just like any big city anywhere in the world
Love it here in Southern italy. Don't want to go back at all but have some responsibilities to take care of
The way things got in canada I'd be fine here to live more simple. Or back there I'd just be working to pretty much pay for my car insurance in ontario. It doesn't even make sense at all
The owners at my job are trying to fire all of us to replace us all with people from India. I'd show up everyday to work hard. With a good attitude. After we started getting talked down on and written up for no reason. I stopped giving a fuck and started to not go. That's the way it is there now everywhere. Temp jobs are the way to go and no one cares. It's not the same times as it used to be
My mom was one was of the first women to ever work in a factory she's from Detroit and old school. I like hearing about all the shit that would happen. If your boss or another worker was a dick head. They would get shoot really fast. Shot in the head in the parking lot. Everyone would be happy about it and nothing would happen. People were respectful and they used to party
Times aren't the way they used to be for blue collar workers. No matter how many years of seniority you put into it, they'll fire you or make you quit. Somone who had 9 years works at KFC now
For the price of a some beers and a large pizza back in canada you could fill up a whole large grocery cart here and have food for over a month that actually tastes and makes you feel good
Could just spend all my time on the ocean and in the mountains here instead of factories. My car has a small engine so gas goes far

I hear ya. That’s the way of the world these days it seems. Billionaires taking over, hoarding wealth at the top. They throw you the scraps. I’m fortunate in that I’m retired military so have a pension coming in. I found out yesterday that the job I’ve been working for almost six years is laying me off at the end of the month. I’m a government contractor and due to the fact that our government can’t manage to fund itself for more than a couple months at a time, they’re letting the contractors go. So stupid. I’m sick of this shit.
I’ve been to Sicily quite a few times. I always liked Italy. Good food like you say and laid back atmosphere. Been all over Canada too. Great place but it’s not far behind the USA in going down the toilet. I don’t want to work until I’m dead either. That’s the American way it seems. One of my coworkers died last week. Dude was in his 70s still trying to make ends meet. Scary.

Sorry to hear
Love canada myself but don't see it ever working out
Even the food in cans here is different, on a whole other level. Could never stand any kind of canned beans. Until I opened some up here to be pleasantly surprised. They only smell fresh and taste like beans
Anyone I met in canada that I mention Italy to told me I was crazy to be in canada. Especially anyone European who knew. But I think the worst part about canada is how stuck up so many are. Where they are all too good for me
Places I've been in the us and family / friends in the usa are much easier to have a normal conversation with. It almost doesn't make sense but it's very true. Very far from what most would typically think
Only regret not working on leaving sooner. Could travel all around most of Europe anytime
Thought of just saying screw it and going to the Philippines to see family there. Who've been there over 15 years now. It's so nice that they only came back once, in all of those years.
Figured that life is short. Being so left out and not good enough was only a blessing in disguise. I don't have any kids or anything tying me down at all. Have no reason to stay where I live there at all. Nothing to leave behind. Only to be leaving loneliness behind
I always thought I'd be good enough over there. Every year that went by I seen it. That it's the culture. I'm not perfect but there is nothing wrong with me. It hurts that no one ever really seen that or would ever meet me once. Would have felt better about it to have been given one chance was all
Have good friends there. Everyone is so busy that you see them every so often. They are some few really good people who'd give you the shirt of their backs
One of my good friends who I'd spend most days with playing music moved away and I was inspired by it. He doesn't really like civilization and moved far away into nature. It reminded me of being younger and always wanting to leave because from the day I joined school I was always told I was never good enough
So I thought ok at least I'll be able to meet somone one day and just be normal. Not going to happen there. I guess they are just like school.
So you just opt out and actually live. Thankful for all of the psychedelic experiences
I know there is a culture where I'd actually be appreciated in
