Could somebody point me to basic information about how genotype and phenotype work in mycology? 1

So I have this mutant (see picture). I wonder whether I can replicate this unusual traits by cloning it? I'm afraid a clone will not show the same mutation, because I think the genetic code actually does not harbour the mutation, but the expression of the code somehow gave this mutation. Could somebody point me to basic information about how genotype and phenotype work in mycology?

There is a strong but not assured possibility that a clone of it would produce other mushrooms like it.
The only way I know to find out is to clone it and see.

This old thread is still relevent to the topic: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11631604#11631604
Also check out Alan Rockefeller's posts. He specializes in Mushroom Genetics and Mushroom Biology.
Cloning is your best bet with preserving those traits. A spore print will have some of those traits too but it will be mixed with other traits as well. But with enough artifical selection via selecting fruits then spore printing then cultivation, you can get those traits to be expressed more readily. And thats basically how strains are made.

Thanks for he feedbacks. I'll read more in the suggested link and from the posters. An I'll try to clone it, and will give an update if I get the same characteristics. Expect me to give an update in a 1,5 month or so.
