Hey all!
I hope everyone had a happy holiday and wishing you all a Happy New Year!
I've fallen away from being here for the last few months because of personal struggles.
But I finally started therapy, really facing myself, and while it's still been a big struggle, at least I finally see a way out.
I missed being here and missed you all greatly. Hopefully I can get back to a place where I can be regular here again.
How has everyone been?

Good to see you Socratesshroom! Hope you continue to find peace and healing this coming year. Have you been working with any psychedelics?

Hey good to see you back man.
Been holidaying and chilling this side, psyching myself up for some psychedelia tonight. Gonna be good times.
The forum has been pretty good too, lots of interesting topics. It'd be great to see you posting again.

Missed you CHUCK! Thank you!
I haven't been working with any as of late. Last time I tripped was 5 months ago. But I'm slowly getting in a space where I want to again.
How have you been?

Northerner! I've still been lurking here and there in the meantime and happy that it's been as lively as always. I'm excited to be getting in to a place to be back here. I love you all and my life wouldn't be the same without you!
How was the tripping?

Was a pretty nice acid adventure with a friend, crazy fun with trippy music. So many wtf moments. My vision is still phasing now.
Thanks for sharing about your journey too man. It can be super hard to admit to anyone that you're making long needed changes, and I admire your courage to say so openly.

SS, it's nice to see you dropping by for a yolo-hello.
Mush love to you, bruddha.
Some therapizing however you can can be good.
Alternatively, the good people who aren't harming animals for our benefits and their profits over at Neuralink should probably just hire RGV as a consultant with massive sayso powers beyond even Musk & his musky investors...whatever, just whatever finally get that fancy new brain-frying-teknowziard magic device to work properly in time before we expire.
And by work properly I actually mean making the device & relevant software so it can somehow seamlessly be setup to interface with our CNS to enable anyone to perform vulcan mind melds on cue via bluetooth....ie. probably be doing the world a big favor, right?

Nobody should be in a rush to get old, but if you manage to survive the trials and tribulations of youth, then in a civilized country like canada, you get a modest pension. I am in that situation now, so, I am on a perpetual vacation. It's great. My good friend Ford explained that (after his knee surgery) "walking gets harder every day" and it made me burst out laughing. He has been on holiday longer than me, but he also plays harder than me so bits have not exactly been 100% repairable, more like 30% reparable, so rather than long walks, or rollerblading, we are more likely to drive or get a taxi, or stay put and grok the universe like an oak.
I ordered a pocket saxaphone for 40$ and I expect to suck at it. but I am quite excited - it has taken over a month but still as not arrived. I am drawing a lot, and getting stoned as often as tolerance permits.

yesterday's drawings
it gets harder every day, hahaha!!!

it's like when i am around others now i understand how good their time is fully understand i am so awesome and so are you!
redgreenvines have you ever seen harold and kumar go to whitecastle? it is one of the best movies i saw it on mushrooms in high school i stayed home just that once to take mushrooms and watch movie and that day an explosion happened in the chemistry class bunch of kids got their hearing ruined thank god i stayed home it was a good time pretty good almost
i highly recommend that movie there's a sequel that is pretty good too i haven't watched the third but that is probably pretty good too
going to watch the queen's new year speech in an hour it's going to be awesome if something is not awesome let's make it awesome
i hope to be painting more in the new year it is the most effective in getting it better except redgreenvines posts and so on and few of them hopefully twice as much (my painting (compared to last year)) if i am more calm in the next year I can probably do it repeat repeat? all kidding aside i should be painting a lot the year after next year but that is too soon to mention
i want almost all of you to grow mushrooms next year mono tub you can handle it they give such a good yield and it's pretty easy there's nothing like seeing mushrooms come up
i just felt like i would have a very hard time if i didn't draw a drawing but i did be sure to do so it doesn't get that hard drawing a drawing daily or whatever you need feel feel how it will be if this and that and choose the best option please

Sit and grokk like an oak!? RGV, I love it.
Ok. Fine, lmao.
The following is of a relatively relevant psychedelic fungi trip report from a hefty amount of dried APE's...with respect to the above notion's sentiment:
Occurring sometime during my twenties, some of the content of which I can still recall parts of quite vividly; it were as if having had very long dream of living an altogether different life than my own.
At the time I believe it took place on w/e my brain cooked up for an Earth, seemed like Earth, albeit - far, or - a long long time ago (somewhere/sometime post humanity's nomadic era).
To make things short, it entailed spending everyday sitting in meditation in a marvelous little grove with a single tree growing in the middle of it. I sat close enough to be partially under to receive some shade, yet, not at the trunk of said tree, but from an angle an artist might take if wishing to draw/paint said tree while situated just at the edges of where its leaves cast some shade down upon the grass growing all around below. Surrounding the grove were a circle of other trees and that's that. Someone (I can't recall their visage anymore) would come by every couple of days and leave me food, water, and some materials I can't recall what for, maybe a sewing kit of sorts plus medicine.
Anyways, what sticks out like a sore thumb while reminiscing on the trip nowadays is having simply sat in half lotus and watched while the tree and I grew in the moment as per the passing seasons; everyday, all day, all night long for years and years, until eventually passing from old age, thereupon the trip ended with myself having come to where the trip begun, in my then bedroom, and, where I found myself sitting in complete awe with tears running down my face over what had just occurred and the sense of having learned something I would almost never have the same chance of circumstances and conditions for doing the same in my life as I know it now. I think once was enough anyways.
Anywho, that's the gist. To this day I still find myself pondering it frequently.

nice to revisit and soak in the oak-ness of the transcendent moment like that idyllic vision. I can sit in an easy pose for hours but half lotus seems to implode after 43 minutes for me.
@Ferdinando, I see you like Ghandi with the spinning wheel - making adjustments to manage sustainable practices - great work you have done.
