We definitely don't call it that here lol.
I always thought it was because Hawaiian Pineapple pizza was created in Canada, and Bacon is one of the main ingredients.
Also, i really dont like Hawaiian Pizza. However, ive found that cooking the pineapple slightly before adding it to the pizza makes it taste better for me. Its still weird. Wish there was some real Hawaiian pizza like Lau Lau or Kaula Pork. But then again, maybe its best left to da braddahz and sistahz

I used to work at Papa John's. When the main manager wasn't on duty we could make our own pizza and bring it home for free. I would make the most glorious pizza ever: a large thick crust with supreme toppings and very light cheese. I would make it extra-toasted. Oh man, those were good days.

There's a place here that makes a Hawaiian pizza with kaula pork, fresh jalapeños and pineapple. I love it.

Christopera You are sent to a dark realm. Where you are trapped in a pizza kitchen. You can only make one type of pizza you get to eat for the rest of your life. What toppings are on it?

If that were the case I'd prob have it be like 1/2 broccoli, spinach, carrots, basil, artichoke, cauliflower, potatoes, avocado, peas, corn, & goat cheese - I wouldn't even eat this half on the pizza I'd just scrape it off and eat it like a salad... then the other half could be gouda, apple, pear, banana, pineapple, orange, mango, papaya, passionfruit, lychee, and grapes. I would just scrape that off most of the time and eat a nice fruit salad. The crust would be cassava too. Maybe some salmon on part of it too I can pick off for protein
If it was tomato sauce & mozzerella every day for the rest of my life I'd prob wanna die in a few months lol

My latest that really knocked my socks off have been the smokey buffalo from Sassos coal fired in Torrington CT. Really every pizza they make is out standing but this one really is one the best specialties I've had in a long time. It's smokey buffalo chicken, cherry peppers, mozzarella blue cheese crumble & red and green onion. It's really unbelievable and it's hard to describe how good it is here. If you like mushroom the portobello burrata is out of sight with burrata cheese, garlic roasted portabellas, olive oil, red onions, organic arugula & balsamic reduction and then we tell them to add the truffle oil drizzle. They're pepperoni or the traditional apizza is definitely one of the best around. Another interesting one is the sweet Cecilia with fig, garlic, oil, goat cheese, prosciutto da parma, arugula & balsamic reduction

There’s a place called Spartas. They do a pizza pie. All the ingredients are underneath the cheese. I find this to be superb compared to the regular Pizza. What do you think?
This looks absolutely ghastly

I like when they use a bunch of the mini burrata all over instead one giant one in the middle. Plus that looks like a neapolitain bread bowl with tomato soup and not pizza. How the fuck are u supposed to eat that?

The crust is light, crunchy, and flaky. There’s layering of toppings underneath the cheese. It’s really good. It’s actually super good cold too. Top-notch ingredients.

After you try a slice. It makes you wonder why cheese was ever underneath toppings to begin with.

This has been my favorite for a while.
I’ll just replace the olives with some meat of some kind. Usually prosciutto. But the pesto they do at this place is really good.
