I'm trying to gauge my level of alcoholism
I drink at least 6 beer per day, usually more. Weekends my first beer gets opened in the morning and I don't stop all day. I rarely even get drunk, buzzed yes but drunk not really.
I know it's bad.
But whatever at least I'm not smoking meth, am I right ?!!!

I have lost many friends to drinking like that .
It's important to give your body the tools it needs to repair itself from that much drinking. So make sure to eat plenty of healthy foods even if you can't cut back on drinking.

"We found that the risk of all-cause mortality, and of cancers specifically, rises with increasing levels of consumption, and the level of consumption that minimises health loss is zero."

as little as one drink a day increases all cause mortality. alcohol is fun and useful but shortens your life when consumed in any quantity. if you have to ask an anonymous question to "gauge your level of alcoholism" it's past time to start drinking less or looking for AA/therapy. godspeed friend

I don't drink alcohol at all. Alcohol is a poison and neurotoxin. No reason to drink this shit.

I drank 9 beers a day, a few extra on the weekends, for years. I struggled to quit, was advised by my doctor that I might seize and was offered in-patient treatment, which I declined.
A deep meditation with mushrooms allowed me to break the cycle. I've have set backs, but I'm no longer on the road that was only going to get darker.

Alcohol is worthless.
Alcohol is a trojan horse.
Its a fairly innocent molecule that gets turned into a harmful carcinogen in the liver.
If you drink 1 glass a day, you drink a pint of pure acetaldehyde toxin per month.
Alcoholism makes people act shitty, makes their health shitty and their lives shitty.
