What did you do for the 4th...

What did you people do for the 4th? Anything exciting happen? (like a firework exploding on the beach and killing 30 people?) Where were you and who did you hang out with? Don't need anything personal. Just in a general sense.

I went to the beach and watched the fireworks, then got stuck in traffic for 30 minutes, then made a 3 point turn illegaly so I could get home. Sounds fun huh? Last year on the 4th I was in SanFracisco California (which is the best place to live if you can afford it, and I saw the fireworks display, then wandered around the streets for 3 hours looking for a cab, I was staying on Union St. and I was at Fisherman's Warf) I wish I could have been there again.

Work at the bar during the day....
Went to a block party on my block..free food and booze!
Went back to the bar and hooked up with friends.
Then grabbed a six pack and ibook and headed for lake Michigan with a lady friend.
Watch Bad Santa on the beach and watched the sun rise over Lake Michigan.
Back Home at 6am.

Leaving to play softball now.

Took my wife fishing on Long Island Sound. 12 pound striper on Saturday, 4 pound blue on Sunday. She was over the moon.

Fed family and friends mushies. I couldnt partake because of work responsibilities early monday morning. They fed me veggie burgers. I got off on seeing them get off, and had a great time. The fireworks kicked ass! :thumbup:

oh, i didn't see this one, so i started one. And since i'm too lazy to type my short stupid story again, it's in my thread if anyone cares. It involves, weed, fireworks, and cops, and fun.
