ID Request PNW
    #28592633 - 12/21/23 11:20 AM (1 month, 6 days ago)

Habitat:
PNW, found in a residential area in the bark in someone's front yard.

Gills:
Definitely gills. White at first, matching cap now after spore print. Attached to the stem as far as I could tell.
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

Stem:
Seems relatively thin, white/yellow (yellows when dried I think? Unsure), smooth, pretty sure it's solid.

Cap:
I wanna say 1-3 centimeters? Yellowish to orangeish. Smooth, I wanna say a little sticky when wet. Little nubs sticking off the top.
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Spore print color:
I'm colorblind but my roommate says purplish black and it definitely looks dark.

Bruising:
I didn't notice any bruising.

Other information:
They smell very mushroom-y after the spore print. That almost sour smell that you get from in-store, but much stronger? Didn't smell in situ. I'll be visiting that area later and can smell them if that'd help.

L.ceres is likely. But with only a bad habitat photo and one immature specimen it's just guess work.
