If ChatGTP wrote a book using this forum as input, what would it say?
    #28587268 - 12/17/23 07:11 PM (1 month, 10 days ago)

I'm curious what the major themes have been over the years, if there has been much concensus around anything, or if there were topics that had a lot of disagreement. Any thoughts?

Is it done writing our psychedelic erotic horror novel yet?

If you were to write a book using only input from shroomery.org, what would it say? Provide a summary

Quote:

ChatGPT said:
Creating a book using content solely from Shroomery.org would result in a comprehensive guide encompassing everything about cultivating, identifying, and experiencing various types of mushrooms. The book would likely delve into detailed techniques for growing different species, discussions on mycology, personal anecdotes of mushroom-related experiences, safety precautions, and perhaps even philosophical musings on the cultural significance of mushrooms. It would be a blend of scientific knowledge, practical advice, and community insights surrounding the world of fungi.

I misunderstood your question as being about shroomery.org, but you meant the philosophy forum. My bad

i can see that

do you think some of the big posters who are gone left an impact on the current discussions?

I remember Ice always going on about the denial of death, and I remember diploid with his very sharp logic, and the creativity of decypher etc

I really do miss diploid's incisiveness, OC's absurdity, Ice's doom&gloominess, and the weird ebbs and flows of creativity, but we still do have some of that with You, Rahz, Sudly, Bardy, Freedom, Logical Chaos,  Ferdinando, extreme, Pinky, and the various souls that breeze in and out. I could not list all those who once lived and are no longer among us, and those who have added their written voices to the endless chain of dialogs.

With the resurgence of mainstream interest in Psychedelics as a reasonable treatment for PTSD and depression, there could be more traffic or lurkers than we know, and in that case what we are doing is a matter of continuity, harm reduction, and integrity.

This particular forum, also, since it is psychology oriented rather than "mystical", and since it has been around for a while, could be reflected more often in other media that is just beginning to reflect on the mushrooming mushroom revival.

If you could filter that kind of stuff out, there might be an interesting recap here.
