So how does my plan for drying sound?

i took a square cardboard box, and cut most of the top half off so that it is about 2-3 inches deep. i have some screen that you would use for windows, and im planning on fan drying the shrooms for about a day, then filling the box with some ramp-did stuff, laying the screen over the box and placing the shrooms on top of that. anything i should do to improve upon this?

sounds like it would work
just be sure to cover the box when you put the shrooms & damp rid in there or else you will be trying to suck moisture from yr whole room
i've had good luck w/ setups like the one above...

I'm not sure how well your cardboard box will seal up, but you will probably get better results by using something that does seal fully (like a tupperware container). If you are fan drying for a day it will take very little damp rid to get them to that "cracker dry" state, but if the damp rid is in a cardboard box it may be trying to absorb moisture from the open air as well and render itself useless much quicker. Keeping it contained to a sealed container will make your damp rid go father.
