Indoor Agaricus grow * 1
    #28575702 - 12/09/23 10:58 AM (1 month, 19 days ago)

I was wondering if it is possible to use sawdust substrate instead of straw for Agaricus indoor grow. I have a good spore print I was going to put to agar to get it going. If not, can someone point me to a good Tek on the subject?

You can't grow agaricus on sawdust. You need fully composted material. I think composted dung is the most common. I'm not an agaricus expert so that's about the extent of my knowledge

Yes after doing some research, poo is required because the shrooms need microorganism to live on that are in the poo.
But thanks for replying, I appreciate any feedback.
