With a syringe, drip water from a few inches. Don't forget peroxide.

this is normal it will keep shrinking as the fruits mature...this just goes to show you how much water shrooms use from the substrate to grow and how important your substrates water content is

^^ what he said and apply fresh casing mix to fill the gap. If the casing is too big or you do not want to dunk, hydrate after each flush by watering. Do not give it one big dose of water, but a few mistings a day for a few days will allow it to soak in gradually. If your casing layer is over-colonized then watering will be more difficult. In that case I would recommend dunking. Do not allow standing water, or make sure it is well drained...

You mean a hole for drainage? And a dry verm layer to absorb excess water/waste? A bottom layer is not necessary IME (except perhaps on very large casings). I would not concern myself with it, especially after flushing. Just make sure the substrate is well drained. The only thing you can do now to help is water when needed. The flush greatly depends on the amount of available nutrients at the given time, provided there is enough water content at makeup. Only in the later flushes does adding sufficient water become important. There is usually enough to support the 1st flush or more if you make the substrate and casing mix up correctly...

Spray the casing so it's soaking wet and fill in the gaps in the sides with casing material. The casing is gonna shrink even with added water cause the shrooms are using the substrate. (what a noob )

Sorry bud but I don't have to use your words and use them out if contex to make you out for a noob. You may try posting on shit you've tried rather then repeating what you read sometime.
