My title SHOULD have said, noticed-mold, because we NEVER had mold at my house up north. Not even in the basement.
3 sets of families, my parents, my brothers family, and my family all within the past 15 years migrated from damn near Canada, to the deep south we all notice 1 thing. Even in brand new houses mold will grow in like a toilet or on the shower curtain, even after putting up a BRAND NEW curtain like a week ago so we have to clean like MAD.
I'm just wondering if i or anyone could live in such mold (mould) attracting area that its pointless to grow mush? I think im going a bit far, since mushrooms also like humidity, but all of our families notice it. And its on my mind a lot. My brother of course can afford the 1k hepa filters around his house, but i cannot.
I have a big, free walk in closet but attached to a bathroom with two sinks, a jacuzzi tub and toilet all unused though, oh and a shower. Like if i grow, nothing is used period. I shut the vents even.
But besides genetics, or clean tek... I'm just wondering if any southern people have these types of things going on, and does it cause you issues with your grow? Do you use special cleaners, or have a certain cleaning method? Do you maybe use wicked expensive hepa filters in your A/C unit?
My house is roughly 15 yrs old, but could being in the south just make me a contamination magnet? To where this is all pointless?
