If space is at a minimum, your best bet is to toss n reload tub. If you have room let it go and see what happens.

As for the tub that has already seen it's first flush - do you think it would be a better use of my space/time to toss it and start a new one? Or is it normal to not see growth for a few days or so after harvest?
It's normal to not see growth a few days after harvest. It's also normal for some pins that were present to abort.
Up to you if you need the space or not. You could get more with a fresh tub but that one still has life in it probably.
I would guess that you could have probably rehydrated the cake better. I don't know if a half hour bottom water and a heavy mist would be sufficient.

Alright, thank you. If that's the case I think I will try and get at least another flush out of it. I'll float it for a couple more hours.

The tubs did not end up putting out a second flush and I tossed them a couple days ago. One of them put out a couple more side pins but that was all. Oh well, I birthed five more tubs yesterday to replace them.
I made and inoculated my first slants a few days ago. I used wooden skewers instead of popsicle sticks because that's what I had on hand. They seem to be moving along nicely so far.

I'm not getting as many quality specimens to clone as I had hoped, lots and lots of hollow stipes. The ones I have cloned are definitely on the smaller side too. I had a tub that was looking really promissing but the fruits seemed to finish earlier than expected, and all of the stipes turned out hollow and thin. I'm not really sure why this happened, but have suspicions that it had to do with the cold temperatures from the winter storm that was going on. My grow area was getting down into the high 40's-low 50's at night for several nights in a row. Anyways, hopefully I get some good ones out of my other tubs, I have three with really nice pin sets that are just starting to take off.
