According to BankRate.com:Quote:
“More banks are actively seeking coin deposits to help meet demand in their branches and among their retail customers that rely on coins to conduct transactions,” says Steve Kenneally, senior vice president of payments at the American Bankers Association.
Many big banks have phased out their coin-counting services in recent years, but the regional banks or credit unions that do offer coin exchange likely do so at no cost to customers. There may be a small fee for noncustomers to use the bank’s coin-counting services.
“Different banks have different coin acceptance policies,” Kenneally says. “Some accept rolled coins and some accept loose coins to process through a coin-counting machine. If they have a machine, loose coins are usually preferred.”
After a cursory search, it appears Bank of America and Wells Fargo accept rolled coins for exchange, at no charge for customers. US Bank and TD Bank will apparently accept loose coins. Credit unions are more likely to provide the service at no charge for non-customers, but you'll want to call ahead to make sure. And apparently at the time of this writing, a gas station network operating some 800 stores across 11 states called QuickTrip isn’t charging any service fees for coin exchanges due to the national coin shortage. So, you could recoup 100% of your money without having to do any work except physically going into the gas station.
Now if I may offer you some advice. Don't give your mom money for Christmas shopping. Explain to her that it's not so important to get people things, and going further into debt just to buy token gifts that most people probably don't want or need, is not a good decision for you or for her. If she wants to express gratitude and kindness during the holiday season, suggest that she writes letters and maybe cooks a meal and/or hosts a gathering to share meaningful time together. How insanely consumerism has been tied into the holidays drives me absolutely nuts, and if your Mom has to be borrowing YOUR money to play that game?... Well I sure as hell wouldn't be giving my Mom money for that sort of crap. From what you wrote, she already owes you money, which you expect her to pay back, yet you also expect her to simultaneously come asking to borrow more? That just isn't adding up and I would encourage you to cut her off with regard to leveraging debt for non-essential activities.

Why the fuck are you burying your money?
And I dunno, maybe plasma donation if that's an option in your area? You can make quite a bit your first month of doing that, you just have to donate in pairs and commit to that (at least two times) because they need both donations for the plasma to be viable.

I know you already got the cash but just my 2 cents on how to help decide questions like this.
Never remove money from a source that makes more money. I.e. investments, 401k, high yield savings, etc. (unless there are other circumstances like its failing and you need out of whatever it is like bad crypto, stocks, etc)
After you rule stuff out from there, rule out important things you NEED. Never scrounge from your bills, food, etc. You can dig for cash on shit thats easy to cut though, like if you get a fancy coffee shop coffee every day @ 7 bucks a pop.
Then rule out important hobbies/collectibles. You might be sad if you sell your limited edition star wars action figure for 200 bucks pretty quickly after its gone and may not be able to get another.
Somewhere in there, such as what geo mentioned, are probably some things you can cut or alter around.
Also be a good idea to UNBURY that money and just stick it in a high yeild savings account. They are at about 5% now. It ain't much, but its more than you're getting with it buried in the yard and has a lot less of a chance of getting lost to time.

He can't do that because his disability sees that as income.

-$300 RDSP (government matched retirement account, I need to get $3500 in here a year to max it out to get the most amount of bonds and grants,
Are you talking about how much you need to contribute yearly to make your RDSP full? Because I think if you just want to attract the maximum level of bonds and grants, you only need to put in $1500 yearly.

My DTC was backdated 10 years so I can catch up on previous years but only to a maximum of $3500 a year, if I put $3500 in the government will put $10500 in
What I need to figure out next year is when my DTC ends I think I in 2025 can I still cat up on the previous years, or if I'm forced to stop contributing, the fellows at RDSP.com are very helpful I'll send them an email sometime this year asking about stuff like that

I went in over my credit card again this month, and that's with a free $185 I got from a tax return cheque
Going to have to sell some stuff on wealth simple, I need $55, I'm thinking paxg, that's a whooping 1/3 of my paxg though as I've recently sold a bunch to get sol
I could sell my one share of Netflix that's worth $19.5 and then I only need to sell $36 paxg

She didn't ask for any money this year, which surprised me as she had the previous few years
