ok yeah it may be absorbed quicker but taking that you may get first effects in 20 minutes through liquid and maybe 45 minutes if just ngested by chewing, why should taking shrooms blended in liquid or what4ever reduce the length of time that you are high?

Ok, follow me..it is absorbed faster. Analogy: Question#1 Longbong#1 eats 5 mushies at once, longbong #2 eats 5 mushies over a 2 hour time period. Now which longbong trips longer, longbong#1 or longbong#2? If you said longbong#2 you were correct longbong. Question #2 Why longbond did longbong#2 trip longer than longbong#1? If you said because longbong#2 ate his slower you should now grasp the concept that slower intake results in slower digestion, this is getting long. Therefore longbong when the body absorbs something faster (given total equality) it will metabolize it faster and vice versa...Later

all other things being equal...
if you do make a tea, sipping slowly over a half hour or so will allow for a smoother, less intense liftoff compared to "chugalug, chugalug, ever'body holler hi-de-ho"...
(but remember, a tea may not get all the goodies from the shrooms due to solubility factors...)

& as to chewing, well the carpohores have as their main structural component the polysaccharide chitin (same stuff as in insect & crustacean exoslkeletons), which is not susceptible to carbohydrate-digesting enzymes (amylase, etc.) due to the nature of the bonds (similar to starches but "mirror-image" as it were...)
(& a long time since my last biochemistry class as well...)

man, you just said it soooo clear...
hey, you might want then to dry them sort of mush them up and put in juice or something. then take big gulps..
is bad tasting somehow, but you get it all and THERE...

lol
if longbong#1 and longbong#2 went to the closet and grabbed the wrong bongs then longbong#3'd be caught in his thong and we'd all see whos got the long bong.
i love the analogy egoless, keep up the good work 8-)
