Can shrooms help my ADHD and Social Awkwardness?

For 30 years ive had deer-in-headlight anxiety when making eye contact with people and general awkwardness and edgyness in social interactions.
I avoid conversation with people. Some of it is ADHD driven - Rejection sensitivity, Hyperarousal.
Does anybody here know if Shrooms could alleviate some of this?
Do any of you guys have the same problems?

I do too Off & on Depends on how emotionally healthy I am. Shrooms helping? Not me but that doesn't mean they couldn't If you applied it to yourself.

For as long as I can remember I've always had these weird "mental blocks" while talking to people. Like the brain freezes and fails to produce the right words at the right time.
I would get more anxious over failing to say the right things and it would compound.
Shrooms helped me in a way...but it's more like...in a way that I no longer care about such trivial things. I'm just grateful to be alive now tbh.
If my brain freezes and I can't find the right words and nothing I do will change that, why worry. If I find myself upset about the things I cannot change...well, I might as well be sitting there crying that the sky is blue. How silly would that be? Crying that the sky is the color that it is. I'd much rather simply enjoy it ALL. The good the bad and the ugly

Can relate to this and OP a lot. Never been diagnosed with anything… but always been a bit of an outsider to a certain degree.
I have to say, this way of looking at it is awesome and I’ve been trying to do this myself as much as I can. Dosing harmalas makes it way easier for me to do this… not saying you should dose yourself, but it’s helped me a lot. Would not be a good idea if you’re already on ADHD meds.

I also have rejection sensitivity and social anxiety/hypervigilance. So far I've only been able to try shrooms once at a small 1g dose just to see how a light trip would feel. Since that day my social anxiety is almost completely gone. I've also been able to feel more emotions, which is a big improvement from my usual emotionally blocked self. So based on my experience, they can be very beneficial, but this is purely anecdotal. I am not on any medication.
