Curses! The cursed thread.
    #28541738 - 11/13/23 05:34 PM (2 months, 13 days ago)

GenesisCorrupted compendium of cuses & cursed objects.
To be updated over time.

First Curse.
The Hope Diamond.

"its possession is the story of a long series of tragedies - murder, suicide, madness, and various other misfortunes."
The Times 1988

the original form of the Hope Diamond was stolen from an eye of a sculpted statue of the Hindu goddess Sita.
A New Zealand newspaper article in 1888 described the supposedly lurid history of the Hope Diamond, including a claim that it was "said once to have formed the single eye of a great idol", as part of a confused description that also claimed that its namesake owner had personally "brought it from India", and that the diamond's true color was "white, [although] when held to the light, it emits the most superb and dazzling blue rays."

Jacques Colet bought the Hope Diamond from Simon Frankel and committed suicide.

Prince Ivan Kanitovski bought it from Colet but was killed by Russian revolutionists.

Kanitovski loaned it to Mlle Ladue who was "murdered by her sweetheart."

Simon Mencharides, who had once sold it to the Turkish sultan, was thrown from a precipice along with his wife and young child.

Sultan Hamid gave it to Abu Sabir to "polish" but later Sabir was imprisoned and tortured.

Stone guardian Kulub Bey was hanged by a mob in Turkey.
A Turkish attendant named Hehver Agha was hanged for having it in his possession.

Tavernier, who brought the stone from India to Paris was "torn to pieces by wild dogs in Constantinople."

King Louis gave it to Madame de Montespan whom later he abandoned.

Nicholas Fouquet, an "Intendant of France", borrowed it temporarily to wear it but was "disgraced and died in prison."

A temporary wearer, Princess de Lamballe, was "torn to pieces by a French mob."

Jeweler William Fals who recut the stone "died a ruined man."
William Fals' son Hendrik stole the jewel from his father and later died by suicide.

Some years (after Hendrik) "it was sold to Francis Deaulieu, who died in misery and want."

I wouldn’t touch it.🤣

I thought I'd return to the Mother - did it say it belonged to Sita? Daughter of the Earth, so maybe put it into molten lava as well serving to melt the greed. Or thought to return it to Her in heaven, but uncertain I left it in an astral desert- for Her will but I wasn't sure She wanted it either as it appears cursed.

Perhaps a game of stick ball with it.

The Superman curse. [Re: GenesisCorrupted]
    #28542469 - 11/14/23 09:54 AM (2 months, 12 days ago)

This curse all started with the property being sold to DC. Back in 1938 they sold the rights outright for $130 between them. One creator saying “I curse you forever” when told they would never profit from their creation again.

The victims

The creator.
I guess he didn’t think about the curse rebounding on himself. For his work, and drawing the cartoons of superman. He went completely blind.

Kirk Alyn

Kirk Alyn failed to find work after his time as Superman because he was too closely identified with the role. As a result, he was relegated to voiceovers, commercials, and uncredited screen roles. He later appeared as Lois Lane's father in the 1978 Superman film. Alyn had Alzheimer's disease later in his life and died in 1999 at the age of 88.

George Reeves

George Reeves' career similarly suffered from being so closely identified with the role of Superman. On June 16, 1959, days before his wedding, Reeves was found dead from a gunshot wound in his head at his home with his Luger near him. The death was officially ruled a suicide, but controversy surrounds the ruling, as Reeves' fingerprints were never found on the gun, and he was known to have had an affair with the wife of MGM exec Eddie Mannix. It was Reeves' death that inspired the conspiracy theories and the urban legend of a curse associated with the Man of Steel.

Christopher Reeve

Christopher Reeve, like Alyn and Reeves, was so closely identified with the character that it was difficult for him to get lead parts in other films. Reeve was also paralyzed from the neck down after being thrown off of his horse in a cross-country equestrian riding event on May 27, 1995. Reeve died on October 10, 2004 at the age of 52, just fifteen days after his birthday. No official autopsy was performed, but both Reeve's wife Dana and his doctor John McDonald believed that an adverse reaction to a drug caused Reeve's death.

Marlon Brando

Marlon Brando's private life was notoriously tumultuous, involving multiple marriages and divorces. In 1990, Brando was in the center of a media firestorm after two of his children, son Christian and daughter Cheyenne, were caught in tragedy, with Christian fatally shooting Cheyenne's boyfriend Dag Drollet after she claimed he was physically abusive towards her. Christian pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was imprisoned for five years; in an interview with The Times, Christian said that later revelations about Cheyenne's mental health had made him question whether she was ever beaten by Drollet. Brando himself admitted in court that he had failed his son and daughter. Cheyenne herself also accused her father of abusing her as well, with her deteriorating mental health and worsening drug addiction problems leading to her committing suicide in 1995, which spurred Brando to retreat into and spend the rest of his life in seclusion. He died in July 2004, three months before Christopher Reeve.

Margot Kidder

Margot Kidder fought with the director of the Superman movies, so her part was minimized in later installments. She was also unable to get any other major parts because she was typecast as the damsel in distress.

In 1990, she was in a car accident that left her temporarily paralyzed. She could not work, which led to severe mood swings and depression. She began to have manic episodes and eventually had a severe breakdown in 1996. She became convinced that her previous husband was trying to kill her and began sleeping outside before going missing for several days. She was found by police in a paranoid and delusional state and sent to UCLA Medical to be treated. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which she channeled towards activism work for mental health research. Kidder continued to consistently work in film and TV, including a guest role on Smallville. She died on May 13, 2018 in Livingston, Montana after a drug and alcohol overdose. Her death was ruled a suicide.

Kidder was dismissive of the notion of a curse, remarking in a 2002 interview, "That is all newspaper-created rubbish. The idea cracks me up. What about the luck of Superman? When my car crashed this August, if I hadn't hit a telegraph pole after rolling three times, I would have dropped down a 50ft to 60ft ravine. Why don't people focus on that?"

Lee Quigley

Lee Quigley, the actor who portrayed baby Kal-El in the 1978 film, died in 1991 at the age of 14 from solvent abuse.

Richard Pryor

Richard Pryor (Gus Gorman in Superman III) was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1986. He died of a heart attack on December 10, 2005 at the age of 65.

Allison Mack

Allison Mack has stated she has had a difficult time getting substantial roles after Smallville concluded. She was also a member of NXIVM, a sex cult that posed as a multi-level marketing company and self-help service. In 2018, she was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy in relation to NXIVM activities. She pleaded guilty to racketeering charges and was sentenced to three years in prison in 2021.

DVD Crew of Superman Returns

The curse was invoked after three people involved in the creation of the Superman Returns DVD were injured. One of them fell down a flight of stairs, another was mugged and physically assaulted, and a third smashed into a glass window. Director Bryan Singer remarked, "My DVD crew absorbed the curse for us."

Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the writer and artist team who co-created Superman, sold the rights to their creation to DC Comics for a relatively small amount of money, in contrast to the amount of money the character has generated over the decades. Despite repeated efforts over the course of the rest of their lives to recover legal ownership of Superman and a share in the immense profits that the character brought for DC, DC's copyright on the character was renewed. By the 1950s, Shuster's worsening eyesight prevented him from drawing, and he worked as a deliveryman in order to earn a living; Siegel, meanwhile, continued to work for DC, albeit with no creative control over his output, and was then fired in 1966 after DC found out he was planning to launch another lawsuit to reclaim legal ownership of Superman.

In 1975, Siegel and Shuster launched a publicity campaign protesting DC's treatment of them. In the face of a great deal of negative publicity over their handling of the affair (and with the Superman movie coming soon), DC's parent company Warner Communications reinstated the byline dropped more than 30 years earlier and granted the pair a lifetime pension of $20,000 a year, plus health benefits. The first issue with the restored credit was Superman (vol. 1) #302 (August 1976). Shuster died in 1992 and Siegel in 1996.

Kate Bosworth

Kate Bosworth blamed the curse for some misfortune in her personal life. While filming Superman Returns, her relationship with then boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom, became strained and they broke up.

Zack Snyder

The curse was mentioned when Man of Steel (2013) director Zack Snyder's daughter Autumn committed suicide in March 2017 following a lifelong struggle with clinical depression. This incident would cause Snyder to leave the post-production process of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film Justice League (2017), leading to his replacement by director Joss Whedon who additionally provided uncredited, studio-mandated rewrites that altered several aspects of the finished film. His director's cut Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) was eventually dedicated to Autumn's memory through a credit placed at the end of the film.

There was even a ride, called the superman, ride of steel.
It killed someone.
https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sdut-army-amputee-thrown-from-ny-roller-coaster-dies-2011jul08-story.html

To this day, everyone in Hollywood knows better.
Even if you don’t believe in curses. Everyone knows about the superman curse…

The diamond curse seems understandable at least in that it is priceless and what people would do for that, but why superman?

It’s because of all the hatred and greed tied into the curses creation.
The thought being that so much malevolence has actually permeated the art itself. So by portraying it. You are invoking all of that hatred initially put onto the property.

I kindly ask magic users not to direct spells, curses or spirits against me. I have spiritual protection thats much more brutal than I am comfortable with, and cannot call off.

In the various ways of saying it throughout religions etc, the forces of the matrix. For us we can say the matrix is not without higher truth because we are not, yet it would go, they are without and as we can see within 'humans' that are for inversion. The influence may be said to be elemental or inorganic. Major forces in dualistic realms are seen as elemental, effects of thought forms though without original cause(lessness).

The curse of the mummy [Re: GenesisCorrupted]
    #28544657 - 11/15/23 10:28 PM (2 months, 11 days ago)

On November 4, 1922, a team of researchers led by British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered a step that marked the entrance to King Tutankhamen's tomb. When King Tut's tomb itself was unearthed on November 26, 1922—after more than 3000 years of uninterrupted repose—some believed the pharaoh unleashed a powerful curse of death and destruction upon all who dared to disturb his eternal slumber.

1. George Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnarvon
The man who financed the excavation of King Tut's tomb was the first to succumb to the supposed curse. Lord Carnarvon accidentally tore open a mosquito bite while shaving and ended up dying of blood poisoning shortly thereafter. This occurred a few months after the tomb was opened and a mere six weeks after the press started reporting on the "mummy's curse," which was thought to afflict anyone associated with disturbing the mummy. Legend has it that when Lord Carnarvon died, all the lights in his house—or, according to some accounts, all the lights in Cairo—mysteriously went out.

2. Sir Bruce Ingham
Howard Carter, the archaeologist who discovered the tomb, gave a paperweight to his friend Bruce Ingham as a gift. The paperweight appropriately (or perhaps quite inappropriately) consisted of a mummified hand wearing a bracelet that was supposedly inscribed with the phrase, "cursed be he who moves my body." Ingham did not die from the mummy's curse, though his house burned to the ground not long after receiving the gift. When he tried to rebuild, it was hit with a flood.

3. George Jay Gould
George Jay Gould was a wealthy American financier and railroad executive who visited the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1923 and fell sick almost immediately afterward. He never really recovered and died of pneumonia a few months later.

4. Aubrey Herbert
It's said that Lord Carnarvon's half-brother suffered from King Tut's curse simply by being related to the amateur Egyptologist. Aubrey Herbert was born with a degenerative eye condition and became totally blind late in life. A doctor suggested his rotten, infected teeth were somehow interfering with his vision, so Herbert had every single tooth pulled from his head in an effort to regain his sight. It didn't work. He did, however, die of sepsis as a result of the dental surgery, just five months after the death of his supposedly cursed brother.

5. Hugh Evelyn-White
Howard Carter's team of archaeologists who discovered King Tut's tomb
Members of Carter's team, including Richard Bethell and Lord Carnarvon, allegedly fell victim to King Tut's curse. / Hulton Archive/GettyImages
Hugh Evelyn-White, a British archaeologist, visited King Tut's tomb and may have helped excavate the site. By 1924, after seeing death sweep over about two dozen of his fellow excavators, Evelyn-White died by suicide—but not before writing, allegedly in his own blood, "I have succumbed to a curse which forces me to disappear."

6. Aaron Ember
American Egyptologist Aaron Ember was friends with many of the people who were present when King Tut's tomb was opened, including Lord Carnarvon. Ember died in 1926, when his house in Baltimore burned down less than an hour after he and his wife hosted a dinner party. He could have exited safely, but his wife encouraged him to save a manuscript he had been working on while she fetched their son. Sadly, they and the family's maid died in the catastrophe. The name of Ember's manuscript? The Egyptian Book of the Dead.

7. Richard Bethell
Bethell was Lord Carnarvon's secretary and the first person behind Carter to enter the tomb. He died in 1929 under suspicious circumstances—though one modern historian has attributed his death to the work of infamous occultist Aleister Crowley. Bethell was found smothered in his room at an elite London gentlemen's club. Soon after, the Nottingham Evening Post mused, "The suggestion that the Hon. Richard Bethell had come under the ‘curse’ was raised last year, when there was a series of mysterious fires at [his] home, where some of the priceless finds from Tutankhamen’s tomb were stored." No evidence of a connection between artifacts and Bethell's death was established, though.

8. Sir Archibald Douglas Reid
Proving that you didn't have to be one of the excavators or expedition backers to fall victim to Tutankhamun's curse, Sir Archibald Douglas Reid, a radiologist, merely X-rayed Tut before the mummy was given to museum authorities. He got sick the next day and was dead three days later.

9. James Henry Breasted
James Henry Breasted, another famous Egyptologist of the day, was a member of Carter's team when King Tut's tomb was opened. Shortly thereafter, he allegedly returned home to find that his pet canary had been eaten by a cobra—and the cobra was still occupying the cage. Since the cobra is a symbol of the Egyptian monarchy, and a motif that kings wore on their headdresses to represent protection, this was a rather ominous sign. Breasted himself didn't die until 1935, although his death did occur immediately after a trip to Egypt.

10. Howard Carter
Carter never had a mysterious, inexplicable illness and his house never fell victim to any fiery disasters. He died of lymphoma at the age of 64. His tombstone even says, "May your spirit live, may you spend millions of years, you who love Thebes, sitting with your face to the north wind, your eyes beholding happiness." Perhaps the pharaohs saw fit to spare him from their curse.

Kennedy curse [Re: GenesisCorrupted]
    #28551680 - 11/21/23 02:48 PM (2 months, 5 days ago)

The Kennedy family was a bootlegging family. They ran alcohol and made their millions.
Working out on the street. You’re sure to make some enemies. Not sure who they pissed off in particular. But the curse is very well-known.
Here’s a list of curse victims.

November 1941 – Rosemary Kennedy, age 23, struggled to read and write, and she suffered from mood swings, seizures, and violent outbursts. During birth, Rosemary was deprived of oxygen as her mother and nurse waited for the doctor to arrive. As she grew older, she became more rebellious and the family worried she would do something that could tarnish the Kennedy reputation. In an attempt to cure or treat his daughter, Joseph Kennedy secretly arranged for her to undergo a prefrontal lobotomy, which was seen as a promising treatment for various mental illnesses.
Instead of saving Rosemary, the now-discredited procedure left her mentally and physically incapacitated. Rosemary remained institutionalized in seclusion, in rural Wisconsin, until her death in 2005. Her family remained distant for most of Rosemary's life, but Eunice Kennedy Shriver, her sister, grew close with Rosemary later in life. Eunice went on to found the Special Olympics and the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation which researches developmental and intellectual disabilities.

August 12, 1944 – Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. died when the aircraft he was piloting accidentally exploded over East Suffolk, England.

September 9, 1944 – William Cavendish, Marquess of Hartington, newlywed husband of Kathleen Kennedy was fatally shot by a German sniper while leading his company near Heppen, Belgium.

May 13, 1948 – Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy (formally known as Kathleen Cavendish, Marchioness of Hartington) died in a plane crash in France.

August 9, 1963 – Patrick Bouvier Kennedy died of infant respiratory distress syndrome two days after his premature birth on August 7 in Otis Air Force Base, Massachusetts.

November 22, 1963 – U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald as he rode in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas.

June 5, 1968 – U.S. Senator and Democratic presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy, was shot by Sirhan Sirhan in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on the night of his victory in the California primary; Robert died the following morning.

April 25, 1984 – David A. Kennedy died of a drug overdose in a Palm Beach, Florida hotel room.

December 31, 1997 – Michael LeMoyne Kennedy died in a skiing accident after crashing into a tree in Aspen, Colorado.

July 16, 1999 – John F. Kennedy Jr. died when the plane he was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.

September 16, 2011 – Kara Kennedy died of a heart attack while exercising in a Washington, D.C. health club.

May 16, 2012 – Mary Richardson Kennedy died by suicide on the grounds of her home in Bedford, New York.

August 1, 2019 – Saoirse Kennedy Hill, granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy, died of accidental overdose after being found unresponsive at the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.

April 2, 2020 – Maeve Kennedy McKean disappeared with her eight-year-old son, Gideon, during a short canoe trip in the Chesapeake Bay. Their bodies were recovered from the Chesapeake later that week.

The deathbed curse [Re: GenesisCorrupted]
    #28554487 - 11/23/23 10:19 PM (2 months, 3 days ago)

I actually watched this one play out. But I didn’t get to see it get made.

This requires a bit of background.
My stepmother, we will say E, for the sake of this.
Was
A rebellious asshole. She did drugs and yelled at her mother, and has been genuinely a piece of shit for her entire life. She was married to my father at this time. She was planning to have a child and was currently pregnant.

Hospital.
Her mother’s deathbed.
She just gave her last words to the love of her life. He has left the room.
He gives  E one mean look, then left.
E has been beckoned into the room.

Her mother is destroyed. A shell of her former self. Eaten away completely by the cancer.
She beckons her daughter with one finger to get close. She is very weak…

She gets within a couple inches of her mother’s face. Listening to her raspy breathing.
Hoping this is it. This is the moment of forgiveness she’s been waiting for her whole life.

Her mother’s heart rate spikes.
She grabs her shirt and pulls her even closer.

“ your daughter will be even worse than you were.
She will make every day of your life harder then the ones you gave me. She will make you pay for what you did…”

She died immediately after uttering the curse.

There is a story of a man known simply as John Merrick. The elephant man. While his mother was pregnant. She went to the circus. And she gazed upon an elephant for the first time. She was absolutely beside herself with terror. She had an actual panic attack and might’ve passed out. Now the story goes, that stress was what made John Merrick what he was. I’m not sure if that’s true.

But I do know about E’s daughter.
She was the major flashpoint of the divorce.
Has autism, a lot of anger, she is a diabetic.
She also hates her mother.

    #28556438 - 11/25/23 07:28 PM (2 months, 1 day ago)

Making the most of the Nazi high command's belief in the supernatural, Britain's security service, MI5, staged a sorcery ritual in the New Forest in central south England to put the Nazis off their invasion plan.

(The site wasn't chosen arbitrarily. New Forest tradition held that the area had been home to an ancient Wicca coven ever since Rufus, a Norman King, died there.)

The Witches' Ritual, as it came to be known, was performed on Lammas Eve, 1940, "when the tides and time of year were right" and the moon was in the last days of waning (always an ideal time to get rid of things).
But what none knew but MI5 was that the service was only copying an authentic ceremony that had been staged earlier in the war by real occultists at a site that was also said to be targeted for invasion — the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex.
Across the pond, meanwhile, American witches helped out too. A 1943 meeting in Greenwich Village that involved a coven of crones knitting, crocheting, and casually casting anti-Nazi spells.

Historians say that just two events stopped the invasion: first, an air campaign of bombings, and then the Führer's unexpected and unexplained change of plan to move east and invade Russia.

I don't know if it's related but it reminded me of the archaic poem, "Cad Goddeu, or Battle of the Trees in English. The poem is about a Welsh magician who animates trees to be his army." This is the basis of the Duel of the Fates which in the song so widely spread from the Phantom Menace is sung apparently translated into Sanskrit, a curse that gave me the willies enough that I prefer not to hear it.

The haunted video game [Re: GenesisCorrupted]
    #28589143 - 12/18/23 10:08 PM (1 month, 9 days ago)

A few years ago now. There was a mysterious game that appeared on the Internet one day. You could only find it in some of the shadiest websites on the tor network.

There were some people curious enough to try this game.
This game was titled
Sad Satan.

It didn’t give you any intro you were just suddenly in the labyrinth.
You were left to wander in this maze until you would start to find your way through it. After you reach a certain point. You have to open a door to a small meadow. The game would scream at you with an actual woman scream.
All of the audio of screams were real in this game.
The person thought the voice actor was just very good. He ignored it.
But then it began to flash images when he would interact or look at a certain thing, or walked through a certain door or hallway.
At first, the images were just of people. People you could recognize and see throughout history. Congressmen and senators.

As you continue through. You started seeing victims.
People that have been murdered.
Children that were being hurt.
This culminates in them, reaching the end of the labyrinth. Where there is a little girl staring into a corner, crying. She seems to be noticeably darker than all of our surroundings, having an aura of darkness covering her.
She just keeps doing that. So he turned around. As soon as he turned around, it started to chase him.

Now the images were shown faster.
The violence growing to a crescendo. Until she was in escapable, grabbed you.
Then your computer died…
Completely crashed it. He was not able to recover anything.
Now this person went onto the web and described this event. Told everyone to never play it. He didn’t think any of the images were actually real. Until after the fact when he searched a lot of of them. All of those people were real…
This of course intrigued a lot of people. Some would attempt to set up virtual computers to attempt to play. To try and figure out if there was a way to survive the labyrinth.
There isn’t.
Every single person who played this game, lost their computer and got hacked.
There was somebody who made a recreation of it, pretended it was the authentic article, and then played it on a YouTube stream.
That is not the original file.
The people portrayed in it gotten a lot of trouble. Maybe it’s purpose was served.
Because the original file vanished without a trace.
This is without a doubt the most cursed game to ever be made.
Here is the recreation someone made after the fact. They have removed the deeply disturbing imagery. They’ve left some of the original images in.

A person I know did a ritual to curse a woman and take away the thing she loved the most and the next day someone let her dog out by accident and it got hit by a car and killed. The dog was the thing she loved the most, that was accurate. It devastated her.

I'm not sure if I believe in curses but I believe that intention can be a powerful thing and so I am not sure I don't believe in curses either.

I do believe in being nice to people, though.

I think everyone has them watching over them. Some more than others
.my youngest son, Ive had psychics tell me he is very protected. And it was odd because I didn't bring him up.
I feel I protect myself and am unaware of others protecting me. Yet aware that they probably are.

Don't most people who believe in stuff like that believe in some version of the 3 fold rule that claims that whatever energy and intention they send out returns 3 fold?

I've met some interesting people who believe that kind of thing.
That cursing others just curses yourself.

Yeah I assume they are either willing to take the blow back, or are just ignorant, or use tricks like informing in some way which implies consent(?) as done in entertainment media. This may relate to astrals feeding on life force of others which maintains their bodies whereas if/when the astral body dies they fall.

And, they say sevenfold.

And, they say bless your enemies.

If you do a reading on actual, trained yogis, like from Tibet,  each separate school is projecting their own version of what they consider to be beneficial energies.

But, if you raise your own energy:

Also, there seems to be bad, bad luck in blessing what is evil, afaic. As in freak accidents that happen in ironic ways.

Bless your enemies, yet bad luck in blessing what is evil, a good reason to offer intention to the High, giving up fruits though it may be particular.

It sounds like a contradiction.

When it says to bless your enemies, I assume it means, contenders from the same team?

Just randomly one may be moved to direct attention to someone for benefit, yet doesn't know their moral nature. There may be a difference then in giving energy or otherwise asking for light for them, say. It's been said we don't want to give energy to someone who will be stronger for it to commit an unworthy act.

Some people think that I am imposingly large. My fight-flight-freeze response tells me to jump the shark.

I have been mortified.

I know the difference between what is objective and subjective and normative and speculative.

Call me superstitious.

If you want to say that some chicken has laid a square egg, the cow gave curdled milk, and a river ran backwards, etc, etc, etc. I have received what I religiously consider to be a version of negative feedback or a bad omen, if you prefer.

If you have a curse how do you get rid of it?

I have 2 curses.

1. Losing or collapsing at games at the worst possible time.

2. Not being able to keep a steady workout routine. Yoga, weight lifting etc.

Well, that all comes down to who put it on you.

Also what was done to curse you.

Usually you can get rid of a curse by just having good vibes.
If you entreat another spirit. A positive one. And they give you their blessing. That can cancel out a curse.
Getting incredibly good luck out of nowhere.
Can also reset some of your curses.
Depends really.

Do you believe those were unexplainable coincidences, or would it fall under personal discipline, though? Did you fall in a sinkhole and the gym burned down? There could be ordinary or highly unlikely circumstances, that kept you from doing it.

The human lightning rod [Re: GenesisCorrupted] * 1
    #28597198 - 12/24/23 11:06 PM (1 month, 3 days ago)

There was a man working as a park ranger.

Roy Sullivan
Who was struck with lightning seven times.

Let’s take a look at those cases.
The first time.
When he was a child, he was helping his father to cut wheat in a field, when a thunderbolt struck the blade of his scythe without injuring him. Technically, he wasn’t hit with lightning. But I think it’s worth noting.

1. April 1942
He was hiding from the storm in his newly built fire tower. Unfortunately it was so new that it didn’t have a lightning rod installed yet. The lightning wailed and blasted this building at least eight different times.
"fire was jumping all over the place".
The tower was quickly engulfed in flames making him flee the scene. Where he made it approximately 5 feet. Before being struck with lightning. Sending a large burn down his leg and blowing a hole through his shoe.

2. July 1969
This time he was being really safe. He was safe inside of his vehicle. Which is always grounded because of the rubber tires. It’s almost impossible to get struck with lightning and get hurt in here. He thought, as he safely drove down the street.
Until the lightning jumped off of a tree that it struck.

Rebounding through a window, striking him in the brow.
The strike knocked Sullivan unconscious, burned off his eyebrows and eyelashes, and set his hair on fire. The uncontrolled truck kept moving until it stopped near a cliff edge.

3. July 1970
Sullivan was calmly watering his lawn.
It was sunny and beautiful day. Until a bolt of lightning blasts into a nearby transformer arching into his shoulder, searing it. Surely it was happenstance he thought. Preposterous coincidence? Perhaps.

4. spring 1972
Sullivan is working inside of the lodge at the park.
Lightning Cascades through a window and strikes him again. His hair in engulfed in flames. He runs to the bathroom to douse himself. He cannot fit his face underneath the sink. So he smothers himself in a wet towel.
After this strike, he began to feel that there were forces working against him. Some higher power or spirits must’ve been antagonized.

He was now a superstitious man. He had a pronounced fear of death. For months, whenever he was caught in a storm while driving his truck, he would pull over and lie down on the front seat until the storm passed. If there was a crowd. He would be the one who was getting hit. He kept a canteen of water near him at all times to douse the flames.

5. August 7, 1973
Now he was always ready. But he noticed one day on patrol. There was a tiny cloud of pure black roiling with lightning. He began driving away from it as quickly as he could. But he noticed this cloud seemed to be inexplicably following him.
He drove away from it as fast as he could, until he thought he couldn’t see it anymore. Thinking it was safe enough. He got out of his vehicle. Three minutes after getting away from his truck, he was struck with lightning.
Sullivan stated that he actually saw the bolt that hit him. The lightning moved down his left arm and left leg and knocked off his shoe. It then crossed over to his right leg just below the knee. Miraculously alive yet again. Sullivan crawled to the canteen hidden in his truck. Because once again, his hair was up in flames.

6. June 5 , 1976
Summer rains. You can never predict them.
Beautiful sunny day Sullivan’s taking a walk.
The same cloud from before is there. It’s coming towards him again. He doesn’t have his truck this time.
Sullivan begins running as fast as he can. He claimed the cloud was following him. He manages to elude it for seven minutes before being struck with lightning again. This time in the ankle.

7. On June, Sullivan was struck while fishing in a freshwater pool. The lightning hit the top of his head, set his hair on fire, traveled down, and burnt his chest and stomach. Sullivan turned to his car when something unexpected occurred – a bear approached the pond and tried to steal trout from his fishing line. Sullivan had the strength and courage to strike the bear with a tree branch, despite the fact that his hair was on fire.

He claimed that this was the twenty-second time he hit a bear with a stick in his lifetime.

Sullivan's wife was also struck once, when a storm suddenly arrived as she was out hanging clothes in their back yard. Her husband was helping her at the time, but escaped unharmed.

And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

I feel that they have a way of expressing frustration, and I just excuse myself and leave.

I have tried to warn "skeptical" web trolls, where they have very obviously clawed up trees, near a campsite.
