We dog down/establish progress with tacks - easy enough in sailing jargon - but not so evident in Jesus being nailed down with tacks, which he might break.

Does anyone else get spiritual amnesia? I'm just confused why I seem to be the only who forgets his revelations when he "returns". I feel like once I'm there in the "other worlds" it "all makes sense", but then once I "return", the revelation collapses. Why does it do that? Is it the same way for you? Is spiritual amnesia a good thing? Is there a cure for it? Should there be a cure for it?

One of the most satisfying experiences is gaining a level of awareness or skill..

Starting on a plateau and then completing it.

Honoring this is the key to anything that requires skill..

Efficiency is prized always.

Everything you do serves to further a cause..

Such as learning and becoming proficient at something..

In regards to occupation skills work or white color work..

Increasing and fulfilling your potential..

Red Vignor..

White to back to basics black architecture.

Trying to clarify it to myself, mind is naturally joyous, sattvic. When it is not, it is an obscuration in the form of something around the body and its needs, either pain, discomfort, anxiety...

If it is joyous, pure, high, is that something different than the ineffable spoken of? It is simply sattva by default, light.

I liked my mispelling of obscruation, obscrewation, as I am currently inventing new words.

I don't know what it is, whether it's weed, shrooms, or ketamine, it always feels like the most recent trip was always more profound than the last. That I keep seeing increasingly mind-shifting "revelations". There's no doubt in my mind anymore on this point, it's either "this" or not. I feel like I finally understand "new information". Impossible knowledge, knowledge of another sort, beyond this-worldly understanding. A new way to experience time.

Counter point here: drugs may not be revealing the truth.

If the truth keeps shifting, maybe this indicates change is more true than whatever your mind happens to fixate on while high.

Great point; and maybe. However, from my experience “the truth does not keep shifting”. I keep “seeing” the same basic “truth” on drugs and then basically forget it with spiritual amnesia when I “return”. (As I’ve tried to articulate before, I find incredibly confusing / tiring trying to understand why it is that I keep forgetting and why people seem to not be making a bigger deal out of this). At the same time, the revelation deepens with increasing extensions to which there are no analogues in our current this-earthly worldview. These extensions, or “addendums”, if you will, to the basic core revelations, are like a foreign catalogue or new information that doesn’t exist in our realm. But it’s somewhat familiar territory all the same in that it is “new”.

An analogy: it’s like seeing the color “tethereal”. “Tethereal” is an actual color, however it can only be remembered when under the drugged state. Outside of it, the concept no longer makes sense. The changing revelation with rediscovering “tethereal” is not so much to confirm that “tethereal” doesn’t exist, but rather that it’s more nuanced and more multi-faceted with each increasing visit. Change within no change.

On the other hand. I really resonate with your point about the only thing that doesn’t change is… change. Is that what you’re getting at?

Sure I'm getting at that. What is experienced as amnesia may just be change.

One state of mind is not another. And trusting one state over another may be a mistake. Especially when the only way to experience a state is to be drugged. Many heroin addicts can attest to this danger IME
