STIPA ROBUSTA???
    #2853592 - 07/03/04 10:55 AM (12 years, 5 months ago)

i read that these seeds "commonly known as'sleepy grass'" contains the highest known levels of lsa in the plant kingdom.10 seeds were suppose to be enough to produce a mild dreamlike state.one seed is about half the size of a grain of rice!i've consumed up to 40 with no real effects.anyone else heard of or tried these seed?

I've heard of sleepy grass, but never really seen it used. I was under the impression that the actual grass was what contained the LSA, never heard of it's seeds being used, but I'm not exactly an expert on it, just heard it mentioned on occasion.

I dont know about experience, but Ive had seeds of that grass, and the guys who bioassayed didnt get any effects.
But, maybe they didnt take enough, or maybe we had the wrong strain.
Anyway, it is said that a fungus that is symbiotic with the grass or its seeds is resposible for LSA production.

that sounds like a confusion for claviseps.....i said this then thought let me check erowid, and sure enough he's right, good thing I didn't make a fool of myself, but in that case it looks like you'd have to grow it, which was th impression I orignally had, just for different reasons. And as for Heuhuecoyotl saying that LSA provides a piss poor experience, I say it must have just not chosen to reveal itself to you fully. Because it can be something amazing, it's not necissarily as consistant as other naturally occuring tryptamines, but when it's there it's there.

with plant material or seed? ever heard of anyone using it successfully...I can't personally remember ever having heard of someone putting good use to it, I've just heard it mentioned for being a source of LSA
