This is a place to share all the ideas that sounded terrible on paper. Once you actually made them. They were incredible.
Share your weird food combinations & recipes.

Take one salmon fillet. Coat it in creamy Dijon mustard. Cover it in crushed Dorito chips. Preferably spicy Dorito chips. Put this in a convection oven at about 325° for about 20 minutes. Just depends on the convection oven. Once done, you will have a crunchy, moist, breaded fish fillet.🌝

That last recipe is poison. Don’t make that. Also, don’t contribute if you’re going to just bring crap to the table. No one wants to drink that.

So you’re gonna get a baguette, the freshest possible. You’re gonna slice that in half. Now, on 1/2 of it you’re going to put brie cheese. On the other half of it, you’re going to put pesto. Now, on the pesto side, you’re going to put a little bit of prosciutto. As a thin layer covering that half. You’re going to toast this until the cheese starts to melt. Close that. Greasy, rich, delicious sandwich.
Part of the inspiration from this was actually from Twin Peaks.
I think I made it better.

I like to put my fave cereals into different ice creams instead of milk when stoned munchy Also enjoy mixing cereals. Also I make my wife blackened tuna steaks a good bit high(bc it's quick af) Make my own blackening seasoning in batches (most ppl with a spice cabinet can make blackening) instead of store bought and one side 4 minutes other side 3 minutes. Done. Fast when high is good

which is cool, cause i suck at baking , i dont think ive ever successfully made cookies or muffins in like the last year, unless i use a store baught mix
heres the awesome recipe
Quote:
Ingredients (Topping) 1 cup (250 mL)packed brown sugar 1 tsp (5 mL)ground cinnamon 2 tbsp (30 mL)melted butter
Ingredients (Cake) 1/2 cup (125 mL)butter, softened 1 cup (250 mL)granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp (5 mL)vanilla 2 cups (500 mL)all-purpose flour 2 tsp (10 mL)baking powder 3/4 tsp (4 mL)salt 2/3 cup (170 mL)milk (1%) 2 cups (500 mL)wild, fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions (Topping)
Step 1 Stir brown sugar and cinnamon together in small bowl. Add butter; stir until blended. Set aside. ---------------------------------------------------------
Instructions (Cake)
Step 1 Lightly grease and flour 9 x 13-inch (23 x 33 cm) baking pan. Set aside.
Step 2 Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until blended. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until blended.
Step 3 Stir flour, baking powder and salt together in medium bowl. Add a third of flour mixture to egg mixture; beat just until blended. Add half of milk mixture, beat just until blended. Continue alternating flour mixture and milk until both are incorporated into batter. Add blueberries; mix batter gently by hand just until combined. Spread batter into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle topping evenly over batter.
Step 4 Bake in preheated 350˚F (180˚C) oven until toothpick inserted near centre of cake comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes.
This cake is especially delicious made with wild blueberries. ------------------------------------------------------------------ For a nut topping, replace 1/3 cup (75 mL) sugar with 1/4 cup (50 mL) all-purpose flour, and add 1/2 cup (125 mL) sliced almonds or finely chopped walnuts.
OMFG I LOST THIS RECIPE AND I COULD NEVER FIND IT AGAIN, NOW I FOUND IT HERE LOOKING FOR A PUMPKIN PICTURE I TOOK, ALL HAIL LORD GOPHER
It was called blueberry newfie cake, I googled for days last year trying to find it and no avail

gopher said: We got some hash browns in the oven, we just mix half a block of grated cheddar, a tub of sour cream, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 2 cans condensed mushrooms soup and sliced green onions chives, and a package of mcain hash browns 1kg
Then grate some parmesano reggiano on top and bake 375°f for 45 minutes to an hour
It's pretty tasty, eat with a meat side like chicken or ribs

I put a bit of rice noodles in with my two minute noodles. A little sweet soy sauce and some sweet chilli to bring it together.
Also found out that good rustic potatoes can be made with high heat 250c for 20 mins, then 200 for 15, 180 for 20 etc.
There's probably an actual recipe to follow, but I just put the temp down every 20 mins or so and they get nice. Real chunky pieces do well.

Hmmm one batch seemed to not fill up a 9x13 casserole dish so I doubled the recipe.
Pics in an hour when it comes out, I used raspberries with walnuts topping
