It's like I'm "unwilling" to the feel the effects of "this"? 1

It's like I'm "unwilling" to the feel the effects of "this"? That I just can't bring myself to accept that the mystical domain is true. Like, I can't believe "this" thing exists? Like, I can't believe I can actually "feel" the thing I do on weed? Why do I keep perceiving the "ineffable"? And makes it hard to bring back when I "return"? Like, when "I" "return", I "forget it all'. Like, it was just a dream made up? Like a Metaphor that went right behind the original "appearance". The secondary meaning extended From it. Like, everything "rings" with "meaning". How do I keep "missing" this? Has anyone else seen "this"?
Going into "other worlds". Through "invisible landscapes". Through portals of mind. Through Mind. "New meaning" was created. Reading "behind" the scenes? Behind the scenes, where all was shown.
Like, the universe became alive. Like, you were the theater behind it all. But you weren't alone. There were others there.
Peace passeth understanding...

Would have sent you this in PM this morning mate, but I only relistened to it in the afternoon and think it best left here for posterity too.
You might have heard it because I know you like DTFH but they (particularly Hamilton, being more of a 'materialist', we know how much of a goblin Duncan is ) have a great conversation (I think starting about 30 minutes in but I'm about to have dinner so timeline scrub for yourself if you don't want to listen to the whole ep haha) in this episode that might bring you a bit of insight/relief in reference to handling what you mention in this post/ the aspects of the unknown that you "can't bring yourself to accept." Enjoy!

Thanks for the video Lithop. And, yes, I love a lot of the work Duncan puts out. I was going to write a reply about all the reasons I think Hamilton is misled for being okay with calling himself a "materialist", but I deleted it and decided to reply with something a bit more constructive.
(The "tl;dr" of that post would have been: "matter", as even understood by the scientific method, represents something much closer to what the mystics have been talking about than what the everyday person thinks of as "matter". The idea of the "supernatural" is supported by experiences in psychedelic states.)
Anyhow, what I love about what Hamilton says... and it took a night for this to "click"... but I like how he mentions how it is a mystery that psychedelics reveal a very particular sort of knowledge. Why? Why do they stream such knowledge and not knowledge about some other specific set of information?

Venturing that concreteness is an essence of the physical world and not otherwise. On the other hand in the afterlife books, there are said to be astral worlds close to this one that have similar makings of society, buildings, art, science and engineering...

If I wanted to know particular information in the beyond I would focus on it specifically and pursue it, at least narrow it down.
