Your biggest regrets.

This is a place to share our greatest regrets. Maybe even discuss what we could’ve done to have made it right.
If you can put this to bed now. It won’t be something you have to look back on in the future.
Give yourself peace. Feel free to share anonymously if you want.

My first girlfriend was a really sweet girl. She asked me and genuinely wanted to get me something for my birthday. I asked for only one thing. Final Fantasy 10 two. While I was in the car on my way to go and see a movie with this girl. She handed me this present.
I regret not opening it right there and then…
I was a dumb boy. Didn’t realize the significance of it. Did deeply love that I had gotten what I wanted. I tossed it in the backseat like a dumbass.
Always respect when somebody gives you a gift. Open it immediately. Show them how much you care. Because it can look like you don’t if you wait until later.🤦🏻♂️

My biggest regret is spending so much time regretting things.
I've spent much of my life in a state of regret & embarrassment.

I don't really have regrets, because I learned from them. Or the situation harshly taught me a lesson. The only thing I wish I could take back is anything I did that negatively affected my children.

I put all my cash in the washer which someone else was already using and my clothes in the dryer, nothing worked, I brought back my dirty laundry, and my wife folded it so it packs better.

This one gets me every time this song plays.
I was in ceramics. In the advanced class. We got to play on the wheels. And there was this girl from this really cool group in my school. They were like the trippy cool people that knew where to get acid. Or where are the best raves were. Or where the coolest concert was. I knew some of those people. But I wasn’t nearly as cool as this person.
She was beautiful and free spirited. She told me about parachuting. About how pillows could actually hurt your neck. We spent quite a bit of time together in this class. To a point where we had a Clay fight at some point. Everyone in the rest of the class was learning, and the teacher started laughing. Because there was this glass wall separating us from the rest of the classroom. And there was clay all over it. She had smeared a bunch of it up my arm. And she just looked at me with this Look…
Later in the class. She had a bump. It looked like she had maybe gotten pregnant. This really intimidated me a lot. Because I really cared about her a lot. It made me worried about her. I really wanted to ask her out to prom. But by the time I had worked up the courage to ask. She said she was actually going with her friends.
I ended up going with a person who invited me to go. But I don’t think they really wanted me to go with them. I was just somebody to go with.
Later at the dance. Which, for whatever reason was inside an aquarium. So it was really hot.
Lady Gaga poker face was playing I see her from across the room. Her friends are off dancing. She’s all alone. I was not in the mood to dance. Because I was sweating. I wish I just got over there and talked to her. Asked her to dance. I never saw her again. To this day, I still get the feels when I hear this really good song. I hope she’s living a really good life right now.

Most of my regrets come from games (thoeries).. Not social situations. I am humble socially.. sometimes arrogant..
But I never seem to forgive myself in games and game theory.
I know ultimately that I had to make that mistake but I have a hard time getting over those mistakes..
