Found a few allenii just now seeing how some of my irrigated spots are doing, Redwood City area. We all know as soon as it rains it's on 😁. I'll post pictures soon, had to go home to gear up to hunt.

The weather has been so dry, even after a day of rain, it’s followed by 5 consecutive days in the 80’s with a dry wind.

Friends, if you look at the next two weeks, it’s looks wet, and never getting warmer than 67-68.

It’s time to get your walking shoes ready.

Right you are, microclimates and well irrigated spots are worth checking after the recent cold spell though. Off to collect what I scoped out earlier. Hopefully we all have a good bountiful year this year. Happy hunting to all whenever it begins officially.

Well, this season has turned out to be my best so far. Every spot I check, turned out to be better and better. Mind you, they're all irrigated pretty much, shady north sides and ivy lurkers. But man, the places I've spread stems and mulch pieces over the years are paying off where they have laid new mulch down. The facilities manager at the office park where I pick met me the other day, and just like everyone else I come across, I'm honest about why I'm there. He gives me the okay to be at the place anytime I like and if anybody has a problem to contact him. I have more pictures because I am finally slowing down enough to be able to. Good luck everyone. Redwood City

I am going to do a huge photo dump on here soon. This season is insane. Best yet. I've already gotten over 5 dried pounds. The amounts are staggering. I'm spending hours a day picking spots. Good thing I don't have a job to get in the way 😁 here's a few choice pics for now. They're out there in massive numbers. Office parks are your best friend. Talk to the security guards, most of them don't give a fuck and think it's awesome. I've gotten approval to pick whole complexes this way. It's so easy to find massive numbers when you don't have to worry about anything but hunting. Just my advice. I hope y'all are finding more than me. Mush love.

Love that mycelium

Yeah dude tell me about it. That's from one of the patches I pick at an office park I expanded on with some good genetics. Well, landscapers always put a big old pile of mulch out for a few days before they start spreading it. You know the rest of the story. But yeah that patch the mycelium is so thick and white and healthy, that the mushrooms fruiting underneath the plants we're so clustered together and huge they were uprooting them damn near. It's almost impossible to pull wood chips apart that it's so overran through it. There's so many down here where I'm at that I wish there was other people out picking to get them before they rot, but I don't ever see anybody.
