ever let your pets trip?
    #2852359 - 07/02/04 08:30 PM (13 years, 28 days ago)

I just ground up a medium sized cap and mixed it in with dog food, my dog just ate it all.

I'm guessing it was about .5 gram, if that.

she weighs roughly 12-15 pounds.

shes a cockapoo.

I have a feeling she's gonna have a huge hit to her ego tonight.

I'm not really sure I'd do this to a pet that I cared for but that's just my opinion.

Hmmm... interesting idea but I would certainly never do that to my cat.

Giving a 12-15 pound dog and 1/2 a gram of mushrooms would be the same as a human eating 6-7.5 grams of mushrooms. That's assuming that it would affect a dog in the same way as humans, how would you like it if someone just gave you something to eat that just happened to have 7.5 grams of mushrooms in it? I sure as hell hope you're kidding and were just trolling for drama

I used to have some ferrets and got em high off weed one time. I know they were feeling it cause normally they would run everywhere and climb all over the cage. I saw em trying to climb the cage but they could only stand up to the wall of the cage and then they would slowly tip over. I was dying laughing the whole night just watching them wobble around the cage...They stopped biting as much to so maybe they really liked it.

everybody always gets very angry when anyone mentions feeding drugs to animals. I don't know. The only way the animals will probly ever get to experience these things is without there concent. You can't ask a dog if they would like to try mushrooms.
so its hard to say if its right or not. If my dog was younger, i might feed him mushrooms. He might have a bad trip, need to be held and conforted for several hours shitting on himself, or he might dig it, and find religion.
Either way, if done in a safe comfortable invironment it won't hurt em.

yeah I agree with that one, i mean, im sure hes not doing it to hard the dog, maybe it is an ignorant thing to do, but im sure he is just curious as to what will happen to his dog. it could be for the dogs benifit or maybe not. of course you will have to be with him, your dogs pea sized brain could suffer horrible anxiety during its trip, so comfort it as much as you can man. and dont let it outside! keep it within the house, and not in a cage! not in a small room! make it feel as comfortale as possible, it was your decision to feed him shrooms, so now youll have to be by his side as if he were one of your fellow mates.

my friend smoked his guinea pig up all the time, it just sits there stoned and twitches, I think he likes it, i think he hates it, you just cant tell, I dont have a say in the matter though.

i smoked my dog up once this year, th eonly time ive ever done it and ever will, all he did was sit by the door staring out at things. i thought to myself, maybe he wants to go outside, so i let him out, and he zoomed off out into the darkness and barked at everything moving thing he saw or heard, i.e. grass, tree branches, mirror inamges of himself, i love my dog. hallucinagens must be pretty harsh on an animal though, and you definately gave him way too much man. just plan things out and dont be retarded from now on.

Because imagine someone giving you a heavy psychedelic without your knowledge. Now imagine that you cant even comprehend the meaning of "getting high". You've spent your whole life in one state of mind and now all of a sudden you have to deal with walls melting and a mindfuck. That's a cruel thing to do to anyone.

Besides, a drug that is safe for humans may or may not be safe for animals.
