Grow bag pinning! Where to go from here?,

Used all in one grow bag. I think I'm doing well! First success, first grow, first pins, sooo stoked. I know i have surely made mistakes. For one, leaving my sides uncovered. I have lots of side pins. I was wondering, do you guys think I should remove this cake from the bag and put in a humidity chamber?

You have shrooms that are growing. Fiddling with it too much could mess something up. Personally I would LITFA(Leave It The Fuck Alone). Congratulations on the mushrooms.

You could transfer it to a water tub if you like. If you're worried about side pins, put some rubber bands around the bag so that it holds the bag tight to the block of substrate. I suppose it could be a little late for that though, unless you crush some pins.

Got it. I can get down with the LITFA policy. Once those side pins start getting bigger just cut the bag away and leave it open air? Will I still be able to do a second flush?

If you end up cutting the bag away put it in a water tub like Kinoko314 said. I would probably just leave it alone until harvest time personally, especially if this is your first success. They like the environment they are in, that's why they showed up. There is nothing wrong with side pins turning in to full grown side mushrooms. They don't have to be pretty to get you where you want to go.

Having been through a few bags myself my advice is also leave it alone. If you know your spawn is 100% clean, sure you can open that bag... But if you have any doubts about that, leave that bag sealed up until first harvest.

I haven't done these bags, but it seems after colonization people usually open the top of the bag (I assume you have to cut it) and then fold it over and paperclip it. Or something along those lines. You just want some slight FAE. I don't think those filters will give it enough air for fruiting.
If someone who uses these bags knows/does differently, don't be shy. I can only try to help because of all the other people who've popped up on this forum with bags like this. People who stick around here don't usually continue.

I would put it into fruiting conditions now.
You can keep it in the bag or take the entire block out and treat it like a large cake. Up to you

What did you do? Did you end up cutting slits in the bag to help it get some more air, or did you leave it alone and let it continue the way it was? I'm wondering because I'm at the same stage now and I want to know if cutting slits will give me a bigger yield. I know this post is a little old but please help if possible... Thanks and Mush Love
