I really don't like labels. Sexuality is very intimate and I have never questioned my own. But I have questioned why not. Or why I view things in particular ways. Be you whomever you are.

Were you born straight? Will you die straight?
More importantly, who cares?

What does that label help you understand tho? Furries don't intrinsically get off on yiff and have costumed sex with other furries. And likewise people who are into pet play and like to dress up in expensive, complex animal costumes specifically for sex aren't necessarily furries.

Im pretty sure if you are dressing up in animal suits and getting sexual with them on, that would make you a furry.
Labels help identity ourselves to people of our community as well as outside our sexual communities.

I understand both I don't care and don't apply them to myself. But theres help with identity when you identify. I would not know what to identify myself as Down for whatever I feel in the moment

No, latex puppies aren't furries. Different thing, different community. So perhaps you're right after all, maybe labels are useful...
