I've spent a long time looking for wide mouth, half pint canning jars and have had zero success (except for on the net, but I dont really like ordering things online); so I broke down and bought some regular canning jars I found at the local shoppingmarket.



Will these work as well as the wide mouth jars?

No, the one's I have, the one pictured, are regular tapered jars.

Yes they are good to use since they are basically the same just a different shape,and they are tapered not wide mouth-the cakes will slide out just as easy VVVV
