Have you ever encountered an entity? 9

I've encountered a lot of entities over the years. I remember some encounters vividly even many years later, often still unsure of the significance, or even if there is any. These experiences are often stronger than many real life encounters with people but we don't really get the chance to talk about them.
Tell us about entities you have encountered. Did they have positive, negative or neutral intent? Did they speak to you? What did they say? Was the speech audible or psychic? Were they visible or invisible? What form did they take? How did you sense their presence? How did you feel during the experience? How did you feel after the experience?
I know that's a lot of questions and don't feel obliged to answer them all. It's just some things that help delineate the different types of entities people encounter, which can help others identify with what you have experienced.

Have you seen the same entities/entity multiple times. A spirit guide if you will? Or is it always a different place with different entities?
Not seen. I had an invisible realm guardian/guide that used to check me on portal entry a bunch. He sent me to magical realms with other beautiful things, blocked me entry altogether and one time set a massive scorpion entity on me.

Portal guardian was invisible and spoke psychically. Just a presence.
I'd been warned a couple of times not to show up with alcohol in my system, I broke the rules and got punished. Fucking scorpion came back through the portal and was attacking me in my bedroom. Could see it with my eyes open. One of the most terrifying DMT experiences I ever had.
No malice the next time though. I never broke that rule again.

Changa is the trick. Get to spend 20-25 minutes in there. Pens hit quick and throw you back out in 5-10 minutes. Too electric, too frenetic, over too soon to really settle in. Sure you can keep doing it again and again, but you don't get much time to explore.

One time just after I landed I was in a wide open space, the ground was shaking, everything was vibrating. In front of me was a massive dual arch that was grey in colour, kinda like McDonalds arches except the middle did not touch the ground but fell back into the distance. This was enormous, like a massive building. I looked up and I could see huge eyes, one in each arch. One was full of large green spots in white moving around and the other was full of red zig-zags in white that were pulsing. I was astonished to see these massive alien eyes looking at me, the whole arch was an entity. Then the middle of the arch was like an electric zig-zag down and forming a nose and the top lip of a mouth within these arches. It started speaking to me, I could actually hear it, though the words made no sense. It was like an AM radio in a different language and as it spoke the arc that was it's nose and top lip would move and crackle in blue. From within it's mouth huge white discs started flying out slowly high above me, but in formation 3 across and many deep coming from deep within the fading sky that was this creatures body inside the arches. I looked at its eye's again and tried to understand what it was saying. It was almost English but I could not understand it. I had flickering images coming over me, I was being transported away into the next scene, but I just couldn't know what the message was. Then I was gone from that place
At the time I was absolutely convinced I had met a god. I had never encountered such an incredibly big entity. It still cooks me a bit to think about it even though this happened a bunch of years ago now.

Studies have concluded that we have about 7 thoughts or "conceptual entities" a second, and there's multiple synaptic systems feeding these entities. Being able to identify one of these entities (thoughts) as a decision making point should be impossible, it's far too complicated and fast. But we understand that lots of things we can't see or pinpoint exist. What we can't control is instinctive base emotions, excitement, anger, lust, fear, etc. though we can control how we react to them, how we respond to that stimuli. By controlling the reaction we can control the chain of emotions and choices that we are making consistently. It's like controlling water.
"7 conceptual entities" is a curious choice of words for researchers. Like there's seven seperate threads of thought happening simultaneously in our minds, that could maybe explain how our minds can fracture and seemingly alive entities can exist in our psyche whilst the other entities observe it and give feedback.

That's pretty much what I reckon it is. Basically a splintering of consciousness.
Many theories on it, but that's my take.

Do you have a link for that?
That's not what I said. A "conceptual entity" is just a seperate thought/concept, that's all. That's why I put it in quotations so it stood out as a phrase with a specific meaning.
Interesting that you extrapolated what I said to mean all sorts of specific things about brain function processes and archetypes though.

The word choice can mean options or actions. Because the meanings are so close to each other in context but really don't mean the same thing it can lead to a lot of dissonance.
By using choice as the options and decisions as the action (rather than choice again) much confusion can be avoided. This is how this topic is traditionally approached.

Just because the scope of our psyche is infinite that does not mean that we can't define things within it. There's many cognitive systems that are running in parallel but we are still single processor creatures. We can turn body movements over to automatic systems but cognition flows to a single point of focus. Everything is running at high speed through that single point. You cannot write or sing and then read something else at the exact same time. They both cross that point going in different directions. Like while you are reading this you cannot hear the actual words in a song playing in the background. You can jump quickly between the two to understand them both but not do them simultaneously.
That is the point of processing where thoughts happen in real time. So somewhere in this incredibly fast stream of process a decision has to pass this single point to be a thought at a particular moment.
This is all highly speculative and theoretical though.

I edited my response before you posted as I failed to word what I wanted to say correctly. So there's other points there.
I disagree, I see us as acting as a supreme form of organic computing. Many subroutines, many processes, many inputs and outputs running through different levels and stages with data stored as energy running across it all, just like silicon. The supreme part being is that our processing is not restricted to binary and our I/O's are much more complex. We constantly acquire more data and turn that into information, then use that information to apply to other processes. Just like a computer, short term data and often used data is ready to be called upon instantly, and less used data requires more effort to recall. We are astoundingly like computers in this way.
The real illusion is that we believe we are completely in control when in fact we are acting the things we think about, literally. Even though we make decisions based around what we think from the sum of available information we act in the way that is qualitative of the information we are processing. They've done experiments on people and got them to do crosswords where the answers to one set of questions is polite and the answers to another offensive. The latter group behaved rudely towards the researchers but were unaware of it at the time.
Possibly this is why people have religious and spiritual experiences. If you're thinking about things then they manifest as part of your experience. We don't choose that, we just do it. That is the illusion of choice and the root of the phrase "change your mind, change your world". It's not about changing conclusions, it's about changing mental processes that lead to unchosen outcomes. But that does not forego decisions.
I'll try to stop derailing my own thread now.

One-time I found myself with a peculiar view of perception where I could see into 2 worlds at once. Both were chaotic alien landscapes and they were seperated by a fat line of static running vertically through my vision. The line did not remain in one place though it moved from side to side in a random fashion, revealing more and less of each world as it moved. Not unlike a slightly out of sync "H Hold" on a CRT television, except side to side, not top to bottom.
In the world on the right of the static I noticed that there.was something there glowing gold in the distance. There was a hill rolling away from me on an angle and the gold light grew brighter as it drew nearer. Then I could see it was a long haired creature moving towards me. It seemed to be humanoid despite looking like a radiant Cousin It and had no feet. It floated towards me as the ground was rolling away from me under it. It drew closer, close enough for me to seen clearly what it was, it was hard for me to tell it's intention.
Then the scene ended and i was whisked away.

Curious entity experience...
One day sat on my couch in my lounge room I punched a couple of big cones of changa and instead of closing my eyes and going with it I forced my eyes to remain open. Suddenly there were these pens in the corners of the room with these odd creatures in them all moving about. It's was very odd that the break through had appeared in my world rather than me going there. I look to my right and in the air is a black hole, it is a sentient entity. I start talking psychically with it about things and we get on the subject of things we like to eat. Running through different things fish comes up. I tell it I like to eat fish, that it's okay to eat fish, just not my fish. (I used to keep tropical fish) A huge blue crystalline fish appears in the air and swims up and around me over towards my fish tank. As I spin my head back the other side to watch it I fall into the void and the scene ends.

how about this https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0XLwzSO7qc/
That's some weird creatures. Kinda similar, though can see the face and not made of radiant gold. Interesting. Super interesting. Gets me thinking to the basis of original thought.
Something that I found is that people tend to see entities that they expect, and by taking away any notion of what one might encounter the mind is set free to perceive what it will during experiences. For example, I was reading about common entity experiences (going back a pile of years now) and something that stood out was jesters. Next thing I have jesters appearing in my visions. Unlike all my previous experiences this was something that was not unique in form and nomenclature. It was then unrealised what I had inadvertently done to myself. I had predefined, created an expectation and set parameters by which the experience would unravel. Reading through other people's progressions I realised that this is common.
People on their base functioning level are heavily influenced by what they think about, way over even what they believe. This steps back once again to illusion of choice that we were discussing earlier. Through this mechanism entities can enter popular perception.
Two common entity forms from different eras and their root creators:
The circling tribes people with God heads and tongues that stick out, from South American shamans. (I bet they have a name for this archetype)
The machine elves, from the popularization of freebase DMT by McKenna.
For me the effect of other people's trips bleeding through to my own was unacceptable. I didn't want to be creating my own interpretation of what other people interpreted from someone else in a strange game of psychedelic Chinese Whispers. So I just stopped reading on the topic, lest I come across something so often that it defines an archetype in my head and plays out into my psychedelic reality.

I'm a reader as well man.
I don't see it as a bad thing, being part of these perceptions, it's just not something I wanted for myself. Having some/any reference in a sea of chaos is surely a good thing for many, especially when they are deep in the soup.
There's a compendium of entities on Nexus that is really detailed and expansive. Clearly written by someone who ventured far deeper into the realms than most would dare to go. It's one hell of a read. What is interesting is that this anonymous author spawned so many common entities with that work. So many of the entities he describes are only found in the search engine after that was posted, yet posted by many different people later on.
I wonder what happened to that guy though. He rocked up and posted that huge tome of insane genius then disappeared.

I will trawl my brain until his name comes up, so I can find that original set of posts I was talking about.
