Fourth flush and the substrates are still kicking out nice weight. This flush is just as big weight-wise as the first. Fruits are much beefier and definitely more psychedelic. First flush mushrooms were just ok. Really mild and almost non visual. Really small and sphaghetti like. The third flush produced some fucking destroyers. I tried three grams and they absolutely blew my tits off. Holy schnikes! Ima let them keep going. Maybe they got one or two more in them yet. Really cool genetics, I like Nats.

From what Ive seen it doesnt seem like it should be this difficult. I had gotten overlay but realized with no top layer/pseudo casing I got no overlay. But still no fruits.
I had this January before last for LAGM, couldn’t get them to pin at all just a mass of overlay and metabolites. Here’s a pic:

Went back to spore and the exact same problem.
Got spores from another source and pinned without issue.
how long do you wait before giving up on tubs like that? mine are at 28 days since spawning and look similar. was thinking of waiting at least 6 weeks before considering them bunk

Probably roughly 6 weeks myself. Went back to spore and same story. Sourced some new spores and problem solved!
Good luck!

When I got tubs like that I’d give them like a month and then flip it over and usually end up getting like 7-12g from it
Wildly potent 7-12g but still.

I put some nats to grain a few days ago. Would anyone be interested in a spore print from low overlay nats if everything works out? At least they were low overlay the last time I ran them. Just thinking ahead.

Interesting . What would you say are the effects of Semps and Pans in comparison? Which and why is your top 1? Lately I've been hearing a lot about Semps and that has piqued my interest. Are the effects so different?</font>

Would love some low overlay genetics! I’m currently waiting for my agar plates to pin then will be closing that pin. Is that the best way to get started with nats? Or should I just try knocking up small bags of grain and seeing if I get any pins? My current nat culture is from a Nintendo character and is the low spore genetics.

Top 1? Semps all the way. Pans are beautiful/colorful, Nats are positive/happiness, Semps are spiritual/life changing

I’m doing my first spore to agar to try to grow up natalensis. Is the best strategy to take a bunch of sections of agar and make a bunch of different plates to spawn all to small amounts of grain to look for low overlay? Or grow on agar until a plate pin then clone the pin? Thanks!

Well, the first step is cleaning the culture

Yes. I left that out, but after a few transfers and a few clean cultures.. plate pin or run bunch of small trials?

I've been getting impatient since I've gotten a nats print, so these two shoeboxes are from 2 different germ plates. They were both similar in that they started from a visible speck of spores. Both tubs have the exact same amount of total coir and spawn. One had a half quart of coir set aside for a pseudo-casing. I thought people were getting better results without a top layer, but so far it's the opposite for me.

I did a third germ plate where I took a sterile swab and rubbed it on the print, and then streaked the plate. I took 4 transfers from that one to test out different genetics. The T3s went to grain, and should be ready to spawn in a few more days. I've continued to transfer, but the T3s looked pretty good, so I sent it.
