I'm very depressed * 3
    #28506527 - 10/16/23 08:45 AM (3 months, 11 days ago)

Last two years of my life have been a fucking hell, now things seen to be stabilizing but I feel bad most of the time, I only feel normal working or lately consuming psicodelics, but I think I'm doing it for the wrong reason, like I want a past time of my life that is gone to come back, and is not coming bad.

Mushrooms helps me don't think about things that make me feel bad for a few hours and I even feel better for a couple of days after. But I use to abuse weed and benzos, and I worried this is going that same route.

Idk were I want to go with this thread, I was just feeling alone and needed to tell someone about it.

Thanks.

It happens. Feel free to vent. One day at a time.

If you do want my two cents:

Mushrooms can be helpful for depression.

Mushrooms can be an unhealthy coping mechanism. If you have turned to drug use as a coping mechanism in the past, I would caution against this route.

I would ask yourself: why do you feel normal when you're working? Reflect on that. This really depends on what your job is. Maybe you can find a way to replicate that feeling elsewhere, not at work?

More accurately, you often feel down and depressed.  It's an important distinction.  Don't forget to notice the times you do not feel this way.  It might be when you are petting a dog or walking on the beach.

And notice when you slip into thinking "about things that make me feel bad"

- try to observe that habit and become aware of it

take care

RJ

there's meds that are not sexually deadening ssris that can replenish the brain monoamines that one imbalances during low tmes specifically ask your md for buspirone, and don't take alot. it's the only available 5ht1a agonist. and it's really helped me. i had the worst fucking anxiety ever, and as it turns out sleep apnea and i would wake up in hot flashes and feel like i was smothering every single night until i started taking that shit. it was fucking a great success. no sexual side effects. (i wont take ssris) okay. best of wishes
