I just want to open the discussion here, I don't want to mosey on myself for how I do things, I just want to hear and see the perspectives of other people on how they approach living on their own.
I started my morning by sketching, drawing and painting a piece called 'Silly old wasp'

$200 online. The creativity behind this is unique and you won't find it elsewhere. Not this recipe. It is completely unique, in and of it's own.

Apply a cold compress to help reduce pain and swelling. Use a 1% hydrocortisone cream, calamine lotion, or a baking soda paste on the stung area. A antihistamine can help to reduce itching.

I think my question boils down to, if you live alone, what did you do today?

No.
It's a wasp stabbing a flower.
A practice of artistic technique and perspective that compiles both referenced and creative material to craft a unique piece.
It could depict the aggressive nature of a wasp, the innocence and beauty of a flower, the festideousness of a bee, and the shock and awe of witnessing natural things.
It may tell a story but it has no intention set behind it.

I drank coffee, showered, drank a shake, ate a banana, exercised, did some office work, made a post here, laundry, assembled a fan rack, ate lunch, washed dishes, marinated a London broil for stew, made soda, made hamburger patties, poured a small concrete drainage slab and repaired a concrete patio, helped someone unload a large piece of equipment, did some Christmas shopping online, made a trip to see someone about a thing, ate a hamburger, shoveled a couple hundred pounds of gravel into place, showered, getting a snack now. About to tend to some plants, record a couple music tracks for a drummer, and then I'll probably watch an hour of TV.

Also, I've been playing chess with someone online today while taking breaks.
I've recently taken an interest in resin epoxy. I was at a "gem mine" with someone a couple months ago and noticed the sand was especially sparkly and wondered what would happen if I mixed in in epoxy... I took a small amount and tried. Ends up looking like sand. So I decided to make chess pieces that way, then decided to make a chess board using different shades of sand. Someone turned me on to nail art embellishments which led to discovering all kinds of tiny things so the chess board will be decorated with skulls, swords, gems, gold bars, flowers, snakes, and butterflies. I'll be going back to the "gem mine" Saturday specifically for the sand and will start by doing a bowl or coaster set to practice before trying for the chess set.

Isn't 3D more difficult than a relatively simple board?
(Sand and the waves that slams the hull down. Sand can be time that destroys the boat, but by assistance from the Holy Ghost, water, the process is ensured that much quicker)

The mold I have is only 1/4 inch thick. I'm going to start with clear epoxy and add the embellishments so there should be a slight 3d effect, skulls and swords sticking out of the sand. I think it will end up looking pretty flat.

So far today I cooked tri-tip & eggs for breakfast (still enjoying the benefits of a carnivore diet - 3 months so far). I went and got two vaccine shots for my new job at a local elementary school (measles and tetanus). And am working on some new hire stuff now. The harassment in the workplace training is different than I've had in the past. Rules about misgendering and trans people using certain bathrooms, etc. I can barely recall people's names, let alone remember pronouns!

Work, errands, food prep, consume calories, stretch, shat, shower, read...pretty basic. Now comes some fixing up things that are in need of some lovin..namely...an old PC, an old tablet I used to often use for some sketches while tripping or afterwards (i've been meaning some of them ver in TPE), a toilet, and my sole vehicle atm. Texting fam, friends, & seeing what's up here before making better use of the time.
About my day though...seemingly, I've forgotten much of, if not most of what else there is to it already, probably anyways, more or less for sure.
Thank goodness for mushrooms, music, food, and coffee.
Although, a few hrs ago I did find an old, small rug etched/knitted/stitched or w/e as an old keepsake of sorts from my elementary school days. Lol, twas hiding where i'd forgotten i'd last left it..go figure. Anywho, so i'm cleaning up a storage cubby/closet mostly of old boxes containing olf office equipment, and it turned up there; which, in turn, sparked a brief yet welcome trip down memory lane, parts of which haven't been recalled for quite some time now.
That was kind of nice.
Anywho, randomly rediscovered that. Also, ate a micro minidose of some ape early in the morning and it was stronger than expected...definitely tripped for an hour or so before settling into a weirdly energized yet fatigued mode of sorts. Got this year's flu+cov vax in the morning so that might be playing into some of the funkyness i'm feeling atm.
I didn't even read the OP, sry bubs. I'll give it a look see after this tangent ends...
Rahz,
Seeing z' ol' chessboard patterned rug again rekindled a desire to play again. Could be interesting...esp once the rust starts coming off a bit. Now i'm wondering how that might could go done to aid whichever mental faculties exercised most while playing the game. I can see it going either way, wonderfully synergistic, or a horrible mix? Idk, suppose it depends...

Right, BTW, the reason for all his gibberish is that I believe that there are some shroomerites in the 'Thread Killer Thread' > in the Pubbles.
Seems some play semi-regularly, and, if you (*Rahz) were the one asking? Go on and challenge them online via w/e site or app they use most often, if you can/want to. Go for it.
Maybe Twighead, Smelly Hobbit, Powdered Toastman, Baby Hitler, Nichrome, yada2. There's others...(*soon will) self included.
Should be good fun, maybe a tad maddening. ~ iirc: some of them have been looking for fresh meat for a hot minute now. Beware, but have at it!
I'll be joining soon enough.
