Remington 870 is handheld wanton destruction with a handsome walnut finish. I don't sleep well without it.

My grandpa was a true legend. We never learned all the secrets. While we were cleaning out his house. We found a gun taped behind the toilet… The man guard was never down. Lmfao

UO Everyone should know about mosquito dunks https://summitchemical.com/products/mosquito-dunks/ Diatomaceous earth https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diatomaceous_earth And nematodes. https://www.arbico-organics.com/category/beneficial-nematodes
Each of them are very useful for anyone that likes making some thing that grows out of the Earth. All of them are non-toxic to humans, pets, and plants. If you have all three. Bugs will fear your power.
I got one of those ladybug things in the mail. One year of no mowing and those little buggers are everywhere. Didn't know what they look like before assuming the lady bug form. "Wft are these things?" Oh just young ladybugs.

Edit: guess I should have some opinion. We're say uo now? UO: lawnmowers are super gay loud.

A.k.a. Aphid annihilators! You have such a powerful force in your garden now. They will ensure that anything you plant out there will have probably a 50% better chance. I have to do everything inside. I live in a crummy cityscape. The only thing we grow outside is disease and parasites… I’m not even being pesmistic about it. If I was trying to grow mildew or Moss I’d be just fine. Trying to actually grow psychedelic mushrooms or cannabis outside. Forgetta bout it.

I actually think the kids should be able to bring up their own articles of emancipation. I also think that anybody should be able to bring it up. Like a teacher, seeing a kid getting abused by their parents. It should still have to be proven that they deserve it. But the fact that you need your parents permission to get away from your abusive parent sounds kind of like a paradox to me…

I live in the city too... Eight lanes of traffic intersect just beyond my privacy fence. So noisy.

APPARENTLY this is an unpopular opinion: leave your fucking Bluetooth speakers at home when you go on a hike. No one wants to hear white kids listening to gangster rap on a nature trail. I came to get away from you, definitely not to hear you.

I bought a pair of headphones so people wouldnt have to listen to my beeping metal detector, but I lost them, no clue where they are, dont know if I dropped them.outside or they are just hiding in my house, they cost me $70 too, low latency Bluetooth
I think I only used them about a half a dozen time by the time I lost them

People would use headphones if they were just listening for their own sake. Better quality sound from the headphones, don't have to contend with environmental noises etc... These people want others to hear what they are playing.

I wish that noiseblocking would work in a broader area, around my personal space, rather than being stuck to my sweaty ears, at night.
Also, could noise cancellation be used to protect against destructively loud noises.

UO I actually like a good busker. At least if they aren’t one of those fakers playing a CD and pretending to play an instrument. Totally depends on the instrument. But I like almost every instrument. So unless the music is really obnoxious. I’m always down to hear some music on the street.

In the olden days. It was so understood that their were spies in the castle. That there was literally nothing you could do except set up a room that was completely soundproof. So what they would do is have a Cork tree cut down. They would have inch thick sheets of it installed in between walls… It’s frustrated the hell out of the spies in the castle. Because it acted as flawless soundproofing… Too many kings, too many castles. Now there’s not enough cork to go around.
You could put that foam stuff up. Like they have in a recording booth. That’s the modern equivalent of it. The cheapest way to do that, if you really can’t afford to get that foam. Would be to use the egg cartons. That’s the poor man soundproofing material right there.

I don't think so. Noise cancellation analyzes the incoming sound and creates an identical wave just slightly offset so that the the trough of one wave lines up with the peak of the other. I don't think it would work with super loud noises. You wouldn't want something generating that level of noise next to your ear probably. I think a physical barrier is the best bet for "destructive" noises.
I've seen stuff about ionized air. Supposedly this is the next step in noise cancellation. Might just be hype. But it seems like it was presented as an area effect kinda thing. If it is true we might not have to wear headphones to bed.

Another solution is having triple paned windows. I can only imagine that probably adds some level of noise cancellation. It also insulates your house super well.

Rockwool insulation is supposed to be good for this also

I just use blackout curtains. This is not that great of a house, and I got some easy to pull off double stick tape. I put Velcro on the side next to the window. And then I put the other half of the tape inside of the curtain. That way I can just steal the window closed. Pitch black. I have a kind of crummy neighborhood. So people have with no exaggeration. What seems to be halogen porch lights on all night…
UO Having porch lights on all night. Is kind of the equivalent of driving with your highbeams on constantly.
