I'm running off to work but when I get back -- Beef, if you can find one post where they have anchors I can just work backwards and figure it from there. (and I'll look myself when not running away from my keyboard and tubs in need of harvest...and I'll just run the dehydrator for 29 hours instead of 24 and not do it right now )
The rub is admins have to enable the BB tag. It's why some work and some don't.
Not supported = not turned on (source: comp sci degree I try not to use much)

A thought for a little blurb in the conclusion section SeΓ±or Beef.
I read thru the Guide right after you put it up and not since yet so this may already be there but... One thing I notice is a huge percentage of all posts from noobs with like less than 10 posts is a statement to the tune of "I'm doing an experiment".
I'm all for fucking around with different shit but maybe if you had a section at the end on "as your first time doing this, you are WAY better off NOT experimenting for now". I mean I get it, I went thru the same shit but after a couple posts you guys set me straight on "do what is written down in front of you kid". After a bit over a year I'm mixing and matching different things but it's more about dialing process in now because I understand doing X, you can expect Y however without having a rudimentary grasp on cult, experimentation is like being blindfolded, spun around 3 times and trying to hit the board with the dart you are throwing.
Just a thought but maybe if some of the noobs hear it up front from a truly bad ass grower, and scary ass clown to boot, they might have a better time of things and all the heavy hitters here wouldn't have to type the same "this is what went wrong and why" responses we all see day in and day out.

Hey Beef. This post is a game changer. It really gives life to the Shroomery. Countless thousands will benefit from this work.
If you are taking suggestions please read on. If not, nevermind.
How about a section on storage. This old thread on O2 packets and desiccant packets came up
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19956215
It reminded me questions about storage come up all the time. To get all the way through drying only to let the crispies expire is very sad. Glass, mylar, vacuum, freezing, desicants, cover the basics for most people.
In Chapter 7, Breaking out the key parameters for drying will help. A significant number of new threads ask the same question, and the persistent myths on drying time and temperature just keep coming. Giant type, flashing, TOC listing, the works. βFood dehydrator, maximum temperature, 24 hours, potency unaffected by heat, moisture is the enemy, no questions at this time.β A word on how to dry without a dehydrator will be helpful too.
Tea. Specifically fresh tea. Iβd say this post by PrimalSoup is definitive. It also tells us how to dial in lemon tek. Itβs the citric acid, which varies in the fruit. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=1&Number=12494141&PHPSESSID=&fpart=1#12494141

Okay sure I think I can say something along those lines. I'm thinking this should be right at the beginning of chapter one perhaps right after the "don't inject spores into grain" paragraph. I'll see what I can do. Thank you.

Okay storage is a tricky topic. Different climates necessitate different perimeters. In my dry climate, this is a non-issue. Desiccants work just fine and I've stored large quantities for up to 6 months. Storing mushrooms long term in humid climates is always going to be very challenging. Best thing to do is don't. Get rid of them!

To be clear, there is no consensus on the shroomery about how to store mushrooms for the long-haul. Like i said, Different climates necessitate different storage techniques. Freezing is considered a no-no and I've myself experienced complete potency loss due to freezing. I've recently also seen some members experience problems with vacuum sealing as well! The container isn't nearly as important as the environment in the container. I don't think a lot of noobs will be interested in buying nitrogen bottles to store their mushrooms for years.

I believe i did say most of this but I can try to emphasize it if you think its not apparent enough. I cant exactly recommend anyone to dry their crop without a dehydrator particularly when I don't know what climate they are working in. I'm really trying to guide people into fool proof practices.
Therefor, the fool-proof practice for long-term storage is DONT'. The fool proof practice for drying is dehydrator. I'm afraid I can't compromise what I believe to be the general consensus among the more experienced growers.
