Do it. Sure rebranding and bullshit marketing is a thing, but "cubes are cubes" is reductive and platitudinous. Makes breeding cubes seem like a dumb waste of time.
Like, my favorite porn is the kind that has people doing the sex.

Hello! Reddit has led me here. This is so much better than Reddit. I have read through all of this twice now. It was very informative for a noob like myself. This thread has been way more useful and informative than the hours I've spent trying to figure out how Reddit works (never used it until I got into mycology) and hours of YouTube videos. You are not only insightful, but an excellent writer as well! I have done two grow in a bags with one failure. It's expensive too compared to just doing it myself and making substrate. I am going to use all of your techniques and read through it all again. Fantastic information and I look forward to getting down to business here! Thanks again.

Hey hitchhikers, I gone and done a little blurb in chapter one about associated risks of psychs and schizophrenia. Please check it out. I think its important to understand that psychs are not for everyone and to be aware of the risks involved regarding severe mental illness.
Okay have a great day.

Okay i've added a whole chapter detailing my experience and opinion regarding the age old "a cube is a cube" arguement as well as some information for new growers to make decisions in terms of what to grow.
Thanks everyone.

After a night at the bar with Andre the Giant, Mitch Hedberg and Winston Churchill while walking slowly home I found a small thumb shaped thingy with a button. Instantly pressing and closely inspecting the odd device, I didn't see the vw campervan resembling vehicle roll up/teleport right next to me. No one visually recognizable, no words spoken, inside Shrimps Milkboy SmellyHobbit and Beef simply there doing their thing, exploring the universe, handing out towels. Wonder if they would notice if I hid in their galley a while?
Brother, stick out your thumb and we will pick you up!

Would a bit of controversy be so bad?

A Cube is a cube, in the fact that they are all inferior to Nats, Semps and Pans

Thanks BeefSupremeJr for the work that went into this updated guide. It for sure gets overwhelming digging through all of the information on here and being unsure what is trusted or out of date. Most of the time I have referred to BODβs tek list and am happy to have some more recent info to refer to as a jumping off point.

I never found nats to be all that. A good ape blows them away and thay arent even close to the same tier as semps or pans. ymmv.

I appreciate your guide so much Beef, I was away from the hobby for about 7 years(no space to grow), and finally I have space and focus to grow. I read the guide, had to take some caveats for my own setup but am having contamination free growth right now. We did wheat tek with wheat from a feed store, used window mesh to make a drying rack, pc in a presto(im from a canning family), nocβd with SS from a trusted vendor, and had clean looking and smelling spawn after 20 days.

S2B with only coir using the blaster tek(magically simple), made Pastyβs ez dialed(27q not 65q do to space limitations), put 1 jar to 4q coir into the bins and suedo cased(wasnt super deep but will be next time), and let them rip.

Now the knots are starting to form, from what i can tell and happy little beads of water across the surface. Im thinking pinning should start soon. Its hella dry air where i am so we have a cold humidifier and daylight/night black heat light on a timer and a little fan to circulate air in our little grow tent. No misting or fanning. No poo or gypsum.

This forum shanβt cease to amaze me with changing and adapting. All the reddit dork that talk smack are just too stupid and disrespectful to listen to people who have been flushing cakes and tub, before the dorks were even a thought. Much respect to Beef, Pasty, Bod, RR, and any other TCβs and admins I have pulled knowledge from!

Very helpful guide!
I appreciate you putting the section "The Rich Mans Guide to Cultivation". Admittedly pre-made stuff was what was recommended to me before finding this site.
Next grow (New Year's Grow!) will be my first attempt at using Agar.
