in 2002 I had a heart attack as part of my year of hell, veterans remember.
At the hospital i got a bunch of meds, blabla, whatev.
in 2022, 20 years later, another hospital visit, nuff said.
What i'm getting at..
For 20 years i had a strong tendency to break out in rashes for whatever reason. Eczema attacks to cry over especially in summer. Fucking up part of almost every summer. My doc was clueless. I couldnt find it.
I was given cetirizine and later levocetirizine to cope, an antiallergic for dermatological reasons. Sensible.
During the 20 years later hospital visit, a heart pill gets removed and a new regimen instated.
that one pill tho.
The 20 year skin nightmare was over.
Over!
Very cautiously i dropped the antihistaminic.
Not just was it over my health was even better for not taking it.
I was taking a medicine that introduced allergy into my system and was given an antiallergic to tolerate the daily poison for 20 years.
Take your allergen by morning, your antiallergic by night.
Drugs man...

I mistake your name for Yokai every time.
Moral of the story is: watch out with medicines!

First you take the pills and then you find a place to hide the bodies.
You hear they caught the serial killer? He used to take drunken strolls through my school, Killed like 7 more people after I got out of school lol

he'd bring them to the island with a burlap sac to collect things, then throw it over their heads and strangle them, he'd tell his wife he was out all night hunting so she'd cover for him saying he was in bed, killed in 2000 and 2007 but they wont' report that because it would show massive levels of fruad from the police department and school district, they found DNA evidence on people from 2010
some 350lb guy walking drunk didn't set off any alarm bells,
he mustve been drinking like 8-12 beers before he strangled those people

It's usually one of the non-active ingredients in the pill that patients are allergic to in cases of true allergy. Which means theoretically you might be able to find another brand of the same drug and dose that would not cause an allergic reaction. I get patients who for example can't take any pill with certain colors of dye in them. I don't know how many alternatives you have in your country for any given drug but in this country there's usually several alternatives for anything that's not under a patent
Even then for any given drug you could just buy it from another country if you live here pretty easily but usually you don't know in advance what brand of pill you would get and therefore it's a crapshoot even if you know specifically what part of the pill you take you're allergic to

I agree with Morrowasted, there's a lot of extra shite in pills to be allergic to. It's hard to say what causes what. I've had some weird experiences myself, like intense bone pain and wild hallucinations combined with what I could only call religious fervor when I was taking doxycycline years ago. Luckily I've never had need for that antibiotic again, but it was a fresh hell. Very curious though, can't say I've felt that same level of religious fervor since. Something was kind of interesting about that. I definitely want to put this out: be really careful with the floxacin antibiotics, a small percentage of the population are really sensitive to long term side effects. I'm not too sure if I had long term side effects mentally, but when I took ciprofloxacin I was working a retail job at the time that involved lifting heavy objects and my arm tendons hurt like fire. For months after too. It's hard to deny antibiotics because when you need them you need them, but I'd recommend looking up standard reactions to medicines when you get prescribed them and talking with a doctor if you experience them to an extreme or have anything else happen.
