What is there to say? Decades of Israeli oppression has finally boiled over. Israel has responded with airstrikes, but these will mostly only be aimed at massacring civilians, per usual. Hamas' command structure is probably underground at this point. Thing is, the people of Gaza are used to this and willing to bear just about any cost. The Hamas operation is wildly popular amongst them.
The IDF looks like it will try a ground operation to occupy Gaza. Unfortunately, it looks like this will cause Hezbollah to get involved now too. There is video of soldiers heading to the border. Hezbollah is much more capable than Hamas.
This might turn into a serious regional war involving Lebanon.
The Israel project, as long as it pursued a policy of total aggression both towards its neighbors and towards the locals from whom it has stolen an entire country, was always unsustainable. And the US policy of holding Israel's hand as it did whatever it wanted, committed any crime it wanted, has failed miserably.
This is the natural result. Now we will face the consequences.

The resistance is ready to start the final battle in a united front."
— Hezbollah
Shit is getting real. What a catastrophe for our world. An avoidable one too, if the Israelis had merely chosen to be respectful towards Palestine and their Arab neighbors instead of supporting ISIS and oppressing the Palestinians while believing themselves to be invincible and superior to everyone else.
Israel has been fucking around for decades, and now they're finally about to hit the "find out" stage. This has been a long time coming and it is extremely unfortunate that it all had to come to this.
Too bad this will come at a huge cost in human lives, with unpredictable consequences.

"Anti-semitism" is just a really cheap label designed to deflect criticism from Israel, Zionism, and other corrupt billionaire oligarchs whom also just so happen to be jewish (George Soros comes to mind.)
It's garbage and not at all surprising that people who post articles from fucking CNN like Ice9 would resort to using it.
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that the US Gov goes out of its way to defend Israel even when they are flattening entire apartment buildings full of women and kids, and that this has contributed to the unsustainable situation in Israel which has now turned into an open war, because people on a certain side refuse to compromise and refuse to acknowledge that the Palestinians are also human beings like us.
The US Government and Israel both just want you to believe that the genocide of the Palestinians is fine and necessary and OK because Palestinian lives are worthless.
Speaking of flattening apartment buildings, funny how Israel has been given a free pass on this for decades, they are doing it right now as we speak, but if Russia does it then we need to risk WW3 to stop it. Lmfao. US foreign policy has never been anything more than a hypocritical and corrupt joke.
If anything, the way that the US is responding to the crisis in Israel just lends even more justification to the Russian operation in Ukraine. The world will no longer tolerate the US Gov's position which is that some lives are super important (Israeli, Ukrainian) while others are worthless to the point that it's perfectly fine to commit outright genocide against them (Palestinians, Donbass civilians).

That's one hell of a special pleading.
Lol, more Palestinian civilians are about to die over the next few weeks than have died in the ENTIRE WAR in Ukraine over the past almost 2 years.
And the US Government is going to be clapping and cheering, "Fuck yeah go Israel! Kill all those fuckin' animals!" the whole fucking time.
Of course, I know you are completely incapable as a human being of recognizing any kind of hypocrisy within anything, and you are happy to be one yourself, but for those of us who actually do care, it's obvious that this conflict makes the US position on Ukraine look like a fucking joke.
It's also proof that the Russians have indeed been waging a surgical war designed to reduce civilian casualties as much as possible this whole time.
Israel is about to show the whole world what it actually looks like to go full-on apeshit and kill as many civilians as you can just for the thrill of it. And they will do it to thunderous applause. Because remember, Palestinians aren't actually human, they're just subhuman animals.
The way that Israelis look at Palestinians is no different than how the Nazis viewed Jews. The only reason they aren't rolling out ovens and gas chambers for the Palestinians is because of the outcry it would cause. But apparently, bombing them to rubble is perfectly acceptable.

Done with the full blessing of the US government. You know, because Israel is so special.
Hamas mentioned the other day that they only used 2,000 soldiers for the border raid operation, and that they have some 40,000 more in reserve.
This means Hamas still has a lot of fight left in them and that a potential IDF ground operation into the Gaza strip will be exceptionally difficult to pull off. The IDF is not like Wagner, their ground troops are not that experienced and they are used to their air force doing all the heavy lifting. They will take high casualties in such an operation.
Israel should call off the ground operation and just be sated with killing a few thousand "animals" aka civilians via airstrikes. Otherwise they risk both a failed ground operation that will be both costly and embarrassing and they risk Hezbollah joining the war, which they said they would do incase of a ground operation, and would be nothing short of a catastrophe. Israel will have a very difficult time fighting a war on multiple fronts.

Soo one of the pictures they tried to say was "proof" of the decapitated babies story turned out to be an AI generated image. Lololol.
That one can definitely be chalked up to being Israeli propaganda.
I must say, I am seriously disappointed and disgusted by the response of pretty much the entire US political class to the events in Israel. They are all pretty much jumping on the bandwagon and lining up behind Israel, without a care in the world for how decades of Israeli oppression being what caused this, and using it to justify even more Israeli oppression and killing. It is sickening.
Even politicians who I thought were half-decent like Tulsi Gabbard are saying shit like we must "Stand with Israel." Seriously? Get fucked. To "stand with Israel" means to endorse the mass slaughter of 2 million Palestinians, it means to legitimize their genocide and it means to continue ignoring the long list of Israeli crimes against humanity that motivated people to join Hamas and do this in the first place. Tulsi had so much potential and she fucking blew it.
You cannot achieve peace without holding BOTH sides accountable for their crimes, not just unfairly blaming one side, something which only perpetuates the conflict for eternity and contributes to the feelings of hatred and injustice that plague the region.
It's a level of fervor and bloodlust not seen since 9/11. And just like 9/11, the rhetoric is just as half-baked and ignorant and stupid. "To right the wrong Hamas committed, we must slaughter Palestinian women and children, and perpetuate the cycle of violence and hatred even longer!"
Yeah, fucking brilliant. What a bunch of geniuses. Truly a nation brimming with wise and compassionate leaders. /s
The leadership vacuum in the USA is so fucking bad it's almost unbelievable. We have nobody who isn't a moron anywhere close to a position of power. Not a single fucking person. HOW in a nation of 300+ million people have we failed to produce even just ONE truly great leader?!
The only silver lining is that the massive hypocrisy of the Western world and their idiotic governance is now on full display for the entire world to see. Less than two years after having condemned Russia for their invasion, these same bottom feeding scum are now lining up to cheer on a modern day genocide in Gaza many times worse than anything Russia has ever inflicted on civilians in Ukraine.
When this pathetic clown show that we call "the West" inevitably comes crashing down, thanks to its own stupidity and double standards, the entire world will rejoice. I personally cannot wait.

At least 70 killed and 200 injured.
Typical Israel shit. Our world is going to shit and I don't know what can stop it now. If Hezbollah along with the rest of the resistance axis does nothing, Gaza will be wiped out and the West will cheer on and applaud the slaughter of 2 million people.

Yes, I still remember it vividly when Israel was providing direct support to the ISIS terrorists that, at the time, still clung onto some Syrian territory near the Golan Heights.
They provided them with supplies, gave them air support, and medivac'd wounded ISIS terrorists to Israeli territory for treatment. There was actually an incident once where an Israeli ambulance with wounded ISIS terrorists inside was travelling through the Golan, but a local Druze tribe got word of it and stopped the ambulance, then proceeded to beat the wounded terrorists to death.
Israel did everything in its power to support ISIS and is responsible for many hundreds of thousands of dead outside of Israel as a result.
When ISIS was crushed and removed from its territory in Iraq & Syria, this was a major blow to Israel, and now we see a situation developing where the Resistance axis may finally be ready to confront Israel directly.

No pics or video yet, but things are getting rough in Gaza now that power has been shut off, people's cellphones are dying with no way to recharge. They won't be able to document every single warcrime which of course is part of Israel's strategy.
That said, it could turn out not to be true. Anything is possible. But given Israel's long history of doing things like this, it's not exactly unbelievable.

Haha. Hilarious. Good one. Oh wait, you're not joking?
Israel didn't treat wounded terrorists out of the goodness of their fucking hearts or because they care about war crimes, dude. They did it to prop up their pet terrorist group which they used to terrorize multiple countries.
And let's be honest about these ISIS fighters. Every single one has murdered or tortured civilians in areas they occupied. Even if there were some who didn't engage in these acts, they were complicit in them. They did this with Israel's blessing. Israel treats them and sends them back out so they can do it again, instead of arresting them.
The brutality of Daesh is a reflection of the various state actors who created and supported them.
You see, this is why context matters.

Same. And I almost agreed with choppy, until the whole "Israel is a cancer" bit at the end. I just don't get why the right wing nuts gotta be so insistent on creating enemies and equating them with disease and vermin.
Conservatism is a mental illness.
I feel bad for the Israelis who don't approve of their government policy and are forced to just watch this nightmare unfold without being able to do anything about it, but the reality is they are a minority.
The majority really do believe that the people they are killing are just "animals" that are inferior to them in every way and that to kill them all is the only way forward. And we see many Israeli protesters expressing these exact sentiments at protests and counter-protests all over the globe right now. They're not even slightly ashamed of it. And so I am not ashamed at all to say that their mindset is indeed cancerous.
Given that Israel was created off of stolen land and that it has supported every major terrorist group in the region in an effort to keep it permanently destabilized so they could remain the dominant power in the region, causing untold suffering in the process, then it is clear that Israel itself is the main source of instability in the Middle East.
I'm not advocating for Israel to be wiped out or for Hamas to go on a killing spree because they are "a cancer", but they will have to take responsibility for the things they have done sooner or later. Make no mistake, there will come a time when they are forced to do so.
Finally, it's ironic that you rag on me for "equating things with disease and vermin", but then you yourself go and do the exact same thing by calling conservatism a "mental illness".
You are no better than I am.

Interesting developments this morning...
According to various Twitter accounts, Israel restored the water supply to Gaza. Obviously this is a result of international pressure.
Iran has warned Israel of a "huge earthquake" if Israel does not stop the destruction and call off their ground operation. This is not an idle threat, it is a very serious warning that the entire Resistance axis is going to attack Israel, and soon if things don't change. Iran has also said it would be "impossible" for them to stay out of it.
At the same time, Israel is saying its delayed their operation "due to the weather". I can't be sure but this may be a sign they are getting cold feet.
I suspect that the US may be putting pressure on Israel behind the scenes to cool things off. I don't think the US wants to go to war with Iran right now.
At the same time there were some half a million (!) or so protesters chanting slogans against Netanyahu in the streets of Tel Aviv last night. This is another good sign that perhaps the Israeli people themselves do not want a major war. Although there are also some that are protesting because they think Netanyahu isn't going far enough. The intentions of the crowd seem to be mixed.
Overall, I see reasons to be cautiously optimistic for the moment. The region is on the brink of a serious war that will involve almost the entire Middle East, and which is guaranteed to drag the US in by default. I think the Israelis are starting to realize how bad this could get. I hope they will see wisdom and call off the ground operation before it's too late.

Yeah but that view is just plain wrong. We can do better. Humanity can do better. It's just you've given up on the idea completely so you're perfectly happy to endorse the genocide of Gaza, because to you we're all better off dead anyways.
Rather than assuming a completely nihilistic viewpoint and giving up, try to contribute to what little you can. It's better than nothing.
Also since you don't give a damn about humans, I'm not sure why you pretended to care about the Russian invasion in Ukraine all this time.
Humanity can and will do better. The problem is, it's going to take a lot of pain and suffering to get where we need to be. And it's true, humanity might not survive this process. But if we do, then in the end we will have the world that we desire.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, also said:
- The resistance is capable of waging a long-term war with the enemy.
- All possibilities are possible and we cannot be indifferent to the war crimes committed against the people of the Gaza Strip.
- We have a chance to stop the Zionists at home.
- If we do not defend the Gaza Strip today, tomorrow we will have to deal with the phosphorus bombs that the regime is using in our hospitals.
- The possibility of preventive measures by the axis of resistance is expected in the coming hours.
The rhetoric is getting worse, this looks like a regional war is on the table potentially within days. Iran and Hezbollah both clearly believe that if they don't stop Israel now in Gaza, they will be targeted next.
Everything depends on Israel and whether or not they go through with this ground op. If they do, war is guaranteed.
Meanwhile there is practically no-one in the US whom is willing or able to put the brakes on this thing. We're a country ran by delusional morons that are completely incapable of dealing with this crisis. Case in point, both Janet Yellen and Biden stated that we can totally fight a war in Israel and Ukraine at the same time. This is a clear sign that they are retarded. Just because we can print money doesn't mean we can magically 10x our production of munitions overnight. Ukraine is going to get shafted here hard, not that I have a problem with it.
We are fucked.

We're also seeing survivors from the music festival say that many were killed by Israeli fire. Apparently the soldiers just shot at everything that moved. Israeli cops are just as bad as American ones apparently.

Will Biden or anyone at all in the entire US government condemn Israel for this disgusting warcrime? Doubt it.
Chances of Hezbollah intervening just went up even more. Actually, after this I would say that it's inevitable.
Blaming it on a Hamas rocket is hilarious. Israel must really be living in the past if they think people are dumb enough to believe that one. I bet the mainstream news go along with that explanation, though.

Is there a point to arguing semantics? It was obviously Israel and a pretty convincing case has been made based on the available videos that it was probably a JDAM munition.
Hamas doesn't have any rockets that can cause that level of destruction in one blow. We also know they didn't hit any type of ammunition storage because there were no secondary explosions.
It was Israel. They did it deliberately and now the idiot media is already covering for them as best they can.
It is the height of hubris to think you can kill all those people and then just lie about it right afterwards. Truly the most cowardly nation on Earth.

I haven't seen anything definitive either way, which is not a rare circumstance for such in an active war.
It was Israel and it's not a debate. You may be biased to ignore anything I say but this one is as cut and dry as it gets.

This is an image taken from a video that caught the whole thing. There's an Israeli aircraft that pops flares, an explosion happens underneath the aircraft hitting the hospital at almost the exact same moment.
The Israelis are trying to say the flares are a "Hamas rocket" which is just so stupid I can't even. It's even more clear that they are flares on the actual video itself, it shows them popping off just like it would from an aircraft.
In any case, if it was a Hamas rocket it would have had to defy physics to go from its trajectory track to suddenly dropping like a rock straight down and making the exact same noise as an aerial-dropped munition. And then somehow the 10 lbs of crude explosives Hamas uses in their rockets would have to magically kill 500+ people. Doesn't make sense.
As for the "intercepted Hamas phone call", don't make me laugh. It's obvious that the Israelis realized they were in hot water and whipped that one up overnight in one of their propaganda studios. Problem is, that won't work on anyone other than gullible boomers.
It was Israel, pretty much everybody knows it and now Israel has united the entire Arab world against them.

It was an airburst munition and the blast radius engulfed multiple buildings nearby. There is more than just the explosion that kills, there is also the shockwave and shrapnel.
It's possible the Palestinians exaggerated their deathtoll, but to suggest it wasn't an Israeli munition with footage of the jet aircraft hovering right above the blast site at the exact same time simply because there was no huge impact crater is pretty stupid.
I think the Israelis knew they would need to cover it up and decided to use an airburst munition that wouldn't leave an obvious crater ahead of time. The size of the explosion, based on the video, was still way bigger than anything Hamas could pull off and an airburst is still plenty capable of killing hundreds of people.
Also, "PBS weapons analyst", LOL. PBS is running propaganda for the Zionists along with the rest of the pathetic mainstream media.
It looks like Israel will commit to the ground operation soon, I've seen no indication they will stop it, nor have I seen any indication they will stop airstrikes on civilians anytime soon. They are happy and filled with glee that they bombed that hospital and they know that Biden will do nothing but give them a pat on the back as they kill more and more people. The thought of dead Palestinian children gives a boner to most members of Congress.
It's only a matter of time now before this war expands. How ironic that Israel ended up being the trigger instead of Ukraine.

Yes I'm sure it's just an absolute coincidence that there was an Israeli jet popping flares right above the exact same spot where the explosion happens a second later. The video: https://twitter.com/7winter_flower/status/1714715809153487049
But all it took was for the talking heads on the TV to be all like "ackshually it was probably Hamas, our bad guys lol" for people to ignore all the evidence that it was Israel, throw their hands up and be like "gee guess we'll never know!"
The video makes it very clear what happened. Your total inability to recognize patterns when it comes to propaganda is your undoing.
In other news, history is being made as we speak. Unfortunately, it won't be a positive chapter in our history.
From Big Serge:
"Wish I had the unsullied optimism of the people saying "we have to negotiate and give peace a chance" even as embassies and diplomatic personnel are being evacuated across the middle east and the US Government is *only* talking to the Israelis.
Negotiation is off the table at this point and has been reduced to cryptic threats on twitter. Diplomacy will only become viable after some powerful act of violence jars the world. The salient question is the who-whom of that act.
We're going through an accelerated July Crisis right now. Germany (the USA) is giving Austria (Israel) the blank check to invade Serbia (Gaza)."
My comments:
The Middle East is about to explode into an orgy of violence that will make the Ukraine theatre look like a picnic in comparison.
Not much point in discussing whether or not it will happen at this point. Israel won't back down and US leadership is incapable of doing anything other than justifying more war and violence in their overconfident hubris and insane religious belief about Israel being "The Holy Land". Hezbollah is going to be forced to enter the war or else watch helplessly as Gaza is massacred, which would be a major defeat for the whole Resistance axis, and enrage the whole Muslim world.
Once Hezbollah jumps in, Syria will be bombed relentlessly by Israel regardless of whether or not they enter the war, so they will probably be forced into it even if they didn't want to be.
What will this war look like? Well, Hezbollah has some 100,000+ missiles of a much superior quality to Hamas. Syria has a similar number of missiles which have been saved incase of war with Israel. So between the two of them, around a quarter million missiles ready to launch right at Israel.
At this point the US and Israel both will begin massive airstrikes on Lebanon that will mostly be aimed at killing civilians. It will be a bloodbath. Tens of thousands will die. Hezbollah has massive underground complexes that will mostly be unaffected by airstrikes, and they will be launching hundreds of missiles daily.
Then it's just a question of whether or not Iran is dragged into it. If they are, then things will get so fucking bad that this could easily escalate to a nuclear war. Iran has like 3x the missiles of Hezbollah and Syria combined, they are very accurate and also has a massive fleet of very technologically advanced attack drones. Israel itself will face such death and destruction that they will be pressured to use nuclear weapons for the first time in our history since WW2.
All US bases in the entire Middle East theatre will come under massive bombardment both by Iran as well as local anti-Israel militias that have taken up positions all over Syria and Iraq. Some bases may be stormed with prisoners taken.
Faced with a serious military defeat and unable to cope with massive missile and drone strikes, and with US forces in the region unable to suppress incoming missile attacks from Iran, Lebanon and Syria simultaneously, Israel will use nuclear weapons.
This is really bad and I hope that what I'm saying won't come true, but things aren't looking good right now.

So here's the news from just like the past 20 minutes...
Multiple US bases attacked in both Iraq and Syria by missiles and drones. There are casualties.
US jets retaliating with airstrikes against targets in Deir Ezzor.
Yemeni Houthis launched 3 missiles at a US Naval vessel. The missiles were intercepted.
Hezbollah targeted an Israeli base with a salvo of around 30 guided missiles earlier this morning.
US plans to divert thousands of 155mm artillery shells meant for Ukraine to Israel.
Israel has given the "greenlight" for the Gaza ground operation and will go in soon according to Israeli officials.
Welp, shit is escalating as expected. See my last post for how this is, unfortunately, likely to go if things proceed from the worst-case scenario. Looks like Yemen will also join the party against Israel. They just tried to sink a US Navy ship. It's only a matter of time before someone sinks a US Navy vessel, eventually a missile will slip through.
We're in deep shit.

Blaming Hamas being violent on Islam is stupid. They are violent because they feel they have been given no other choice.
The average dude who joins up with Hamas is someone who lost friends/family or maybe their entire family in an Israeli airstrike, or someone who's child was shot dead by an Israeli sniper for no reason. Someone who's house was bulldozed infront of them while they were beaten by Israeli troops. Someone who has family members rotting in Israeli prisons without charges.
This is a natural human reaction, and it is important to recognize the humanity in it. Because that could have been any one of you. Any one of us. If you were a Palestinian and your wife and child were murdered by Israeli settlers, could you honestly say that you would not consider taking up arms? Put yourself in their shoes.
It is true that Radical Islamist sects like Wahhabism promote violence, these are the type of beliefs that groups like ISIS adhere too. The US/Israel supports these groups because their radicalism makes them easy to control and deploy against the enemies of the US and Israel. However, most Muslims globally do not adhere to these beliefs.
Point is, it's not radical Islam that is the cause of the conflict in Israel/Palestine. It's a low-quality take, unfortunately one that I would expect from lifeiswhatyoumake.
As for judaism, it's not inherently violent either, that's why we have groups like "Jews against Israel" which speak out against Israeli policies all the time. On a side note, the ADL recently labeled them "anti-semitic", lmao. The violence promoted by your average Israeli is part racism and part Zionism, which is the Jewish supremacy equivalent to your White Supremacy ideology.
Blaming Islam for this conflict is so 2001. We're past that and hopefully a lot smarter now... Hopefully.

So Biden's speech last night was basically garbage, he just reaffirmed America's commitment to using brute military force everywhere possible and providing endless support to our various proxies in a vain attempt to continue propping up our dying empire no matter what the consequences might be, no matter how hypocritical and insane it might look, no matter how many people might die despite supposedly being a country that cares about "human rights".
And the entire MSM just lined up right behind his non-speech where he might as well have been a spokesman for the US Pentagon, and declared it the best thing ever without a shred of criticism.
It's just so hilariously obvious how the military industrial complex/intelligence community completely control both the White House and the Media. They will not tolerate any kind of dissent on their insane warmongering and delusions of world domination whatsoever. And they don't give a fuck how it looks.
Any illusion that we are still a "democracy" is just that, an illusion. The word "democracy" no longer has any meaning whatsoever. When someone in the media declares that something is a "threat to democracy", what they really mean to say is that the thing which they declared to be a threat is not really a threat to the democracy, but a threat to US ambitions for world domination, and a threat to the power of the elites that control the levers of power in this country.
America is a doomed nation. Serious advice to anyone that still lives here, get the fuck out of this place before this shitshow collapses entirely, if you can. You won't want to be here when it happens. Russia and China are both good options, but just about any country that isn't in the NATO alliance (and likely to be nuked at some point) will do.
