Do the extra asterisks make this thread more official than the already existing pnw thread?

The asterisks are there to distinguish this thread from the old "Spring" thread that has been up since March. Usually it goes by season not just one thread for the whole year. Whether or not they make it "more" official is beyond me. Amusingly your comment almost seems like some weird kinda whining or something

I like having a โfallโ thread rather than adding on to an old one.

Hey that's cool. I have often wondered what the northern latitude limit for some of these species are. I am north of the border and have so far not seen any allenii or azures but allot of baeos, libs and stuntzii.

Today when I was at work, I had to cross the nicely manicured lawn to go to our other shop across the street. My eye caught some mushrooms, so I picked one. Saw that blue ring, and a large grin came over my face. Found me a small handful of Stuntzii's! (99% sure that's what they are, correct me if I'm wrong) Had to pick most of the small ones too because in the next day or two it's going to get torn up by the lawnmower anyway. Left a few there so it could hopefully propagate, I haven't seen blue ringers in a while.

.

Wish I could have got better pictures, but I didn't want any of my bosses seeing me picturing and picking mushrooms off the lawn randomly, especially while on the clock hahaha ๐

Found some cyans popping up in one of the patches I cultivated. Last year only a few popped up the entire time. This season seems to be much more active, and happening way earlier than expected! This is in Snohomish County, by the coast.
Good luck to everyone! And much love.

Forgot to mention that I had to snap up another bunch that I found before the lawn mower got to them, but they were pretty weak being stuntzii and me being on psych meds. That's okay, it was just cool to find them by chance, I haven't seen blue ringers in quite a while ๐

Weak AF, but that's okay. I'll take what I can get for now. It's just hard to pick them at work, the lawn is in plain sight of the owners office ๐คฃ and I never know when he's going to be there, so it would be hard to come up with an excuse as to why I would be on the lawn after hours haha. Thanks though! ๐
