i wanted to know if anyone has had some experinence watching some horror/scary movies while tripping.While i'm not much of a drug recreationalist,i do like to try some diffrent things while tripping,i'm more into looking into myself,looking at the world and all of that,but sometimes,recreational actiivity can help with that.I've never had an oppurtunity so far to trip on mushrooms to a movie ever so i thought maybe it'd be a journey into myself as well.But the point is,i like to be scared,its a really great feeling to me,but so is love,but i wanted to be scared out of my mind.Like being completly horrified like when i was a child.That'd be awsome to have again!Anyone got some good movies?

I have seen several movies while tripping on acid,my friends and I would plan it out weeks ahead of time.It's great fun,but you might be running around anyway,just having a good scary time.movies seen//Driller Killer,Erasurhead,Joe versus the Volcano(in the theater,2 hits flying eyeball,19??when it came out?)We had to leave a few times from laughing so hard at that one,The Evil Dead,there are some goood scenes for tripping in that one,Sante Sangre,An old Mick Jagger movie,he plays an eccentric artist who rents a room to a mob guy running from the mob.Big Audio Dynamite sampled a few lines from this movie.Frank Zappa 200 Motels,must see!!10,000 maniacs,Afew others I can't think of right now......

Then going outside by yourself in the country;) I've never done this myself but based on the way majority of the people and myself think on mushrooms i'd be pretty freaked out lol.

those are some good ideas,good movies.Thanks for those pics of eraserhead,i remember watching that when i was really young from those pics.i think i might do something like that blair witch idea.I mean since i'll be shrooming,i'll must likely go outside.might be best to take someone with me though.

And if that doesn't do it for you I'd seriously suggest renting The House Of 1000 Corpses.Never before have I watched a movie that has frightened me so very, very fuckin' much!

Id imagine Jacobs Ladder would be pretty scary on shrooms. I dont know if I could handle some of the visuals that go on in that movie in a shrooming mindstate. The Shining scares the shit outta me sober so that would probably be another real good one.

SummerBreeze, House Of 1000 Corpses, while not one of my favorite movies of all time, is a great movie to watch when high/buzzed, under the influence of something. i love how it was made and everything, but yea i need to checkit out while trippin =)

Another movie that scared me was Rambo (the one where he goes to afgahnistan) it wasnt really scary but that shit was extremely intense. My boy and I only made it halfway through the beginning stickfighting scene before we had to find a different movie. Shit was way too intense seeing Rambo wailing on some guy with a stick and a thousand people screaming with their faces morphing and melting.

more of a thinker, some parts will freak you out though.
If you want a really wierd movie that will fuck with your mind so bad go rent Session 9, or maybe it's Session 6.
It's about osme guy with skitzaphrenia(sp?) that has to go work at an insane asylum and it is just so fucked up with a gloomy, dark setting. Go see it!
