you wont get anywhere near a wild rabbit and be close enough to use a ropedart , if you want to go hunting do it properly and use a gun /air rifle.
* if you do get close enough to use a ropedart you have just killed some kids pet

If you let a domestic bunny wander outside unpenned with the raptors and wild dogs, it sounds to me like you killed your own pet.
Wild hares are obviously wild and habituated town hares don't give a fuck about you, they sit still and pretend they're a rock until you're within kicking distance. Using a gun or air rifle to hunt town hare is easy and effective, but it's certainly unsporting.
i used to shoot on a farm (hares/rabbit/pheasants etc) , getting anywhere near rabbits and hares with a shotgun and hitting them was hard enough , getting close enough to one then being about to hit it by hand would be almost impossible unless it was sick (even the ones that you got close too and startled shoot off like a bullet when they realise they have been seen)

Farms aren't towns, and it seems you don't know what 'habituated' means.
OP's original post never said anything about anything being 'habituated' , im more concerned about the humane killing of animals rather than throwing bits of metal at them attached to a piece of string like someone whos watched too many bruce lee films. .... but hey crack on if wounding small animals is your thing , cause if you do manage to clip one without killing it i can guarantee you its not going to sit there.
