A RICHMOND Hill family is accused of shipping guns and drugs around the world to buyers who placed orders over the Internet, York Regional Police said yesterday. A crime ring allegedly operated a mail-order Web site that offered a catalogue of illegal wares.

Buyers selected their "drug of choice" -- anything from Ecstasy to marijuana and date-rape drugs -- and received their shipment by courier or through the mail. Buyers were also told how to send or transfer money into accounts.

Police said they know guns and drugs were sold to people in Japan and Italy. Dubbed "Project Spiderbox" for its cyberspace and maibox links, York cops launched a probe late last year.

Anyone who buys or sells drugs over the internet is just asking for trouble.

I think its safer then the streets, I guess the right way to get these drugs is do what the politicians do and get a quack to give them anything they want. That way its legal and ok, right?

Oh yeah, I heard about this. That really sucks for anyone that doesn't know about the bust now though and orders.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein

The only way we'll ever get safe anonymous drug transactions is with flying robots, and then they'll just start using radar to track the flying robots back to their owner... Expecially if the only people using flying robots is druggies.

A disturbing number of these guns were loaded with hollow point rounds, often referred to as "cop killers", as they are able to penetrate body armour

These guys obviously know very little about firearms. A hollow point bullet has less penetration than traditional full metal jacket rounds. They are designed to give maximum transfer of energy without too much penetration.
