Anybody have suggestions on what varieties to grow or trustworthy vendors? I am interested in both pods and aesthetic value. I want to try my hand at cultivating these next year. Or if some generous member wanted to

Couple cinder blocks high would be nice if you're not going to fabric over the ground under the bed. My poppies grew well in 10" deep fabric pots I bought these ones https://a.co/d/0NiGqiS. And I had up to 5 plants in some of them.

All of these were the colors I got from them and had a couple small white ones. I definitely loved the frilly pink one

Good luck. I've wasted all of September. Was going to plant a crop at the beginning of the month. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

Hi everyone! I have recieved some poppy seeds on ebay and tested viablity. And they are, so now I want to know what it is. The seller claims to have imported them from India and that they are a sought after type. The color is a medium pink petal that goes to a darker purple near the center. Does anyone know what varriety this is? Here in South Carolina, did I miss the starting bell? Can I sow these now and overwinter them outside? Or is my best chance to start them in the spring?

People do start em in the fall and overwinter. Some start in the spring. Pictures of the plants?

The few plants I started from seed 2 weeks ago are just tiny little seedlings in a pint sized pot. I started a new round of seeds yesterday.

What about the picture you looked at to get the description? You said they were purple and pink? Did you see a picture that showed this, or was it just a text description?
