I made some jars and bags for grain spawn Simmered 1hr air dry another hour then put in jars and pc for 2hrs Yesterday I threw out a few jars that wernt looking good and took some popcorn that had already been pc’s and was in a sealed bag and used it for jars and pc’d then for 2hrs So I thought, my instapot is plugged into a switch and I left the house so idk if it went thru the whole 2hr cycle or 10mins of it My question is can I hit it for 2hrs even though there might be the possibility that it already was? Just wanna be sure of it

What type of instant pot are you using?
As far as double PC'ing the popcorn, it's slightly debated but some would say that your moisture content will not be ideal after the second run, so you may as well just go new if you'll be spending the time PC'ing jars anyway.

Looks like you are rocking the Instantpot Duo. If memory serves me right the Duo only achieves ~11 psi whereas their "max" model claims to achieve the 15 psi standard we all thrive for. I would invest in a presto just to know for sure the 15psi is being achieved throughout your process. But if a stove is not available I'm sure others have used the Max model and had success. May be worth a search of the forums.

My fault, i think i didn't correctly grasp the timeline in your initial post. So you PC'd a bag of popcorn, put that in jars and Pc'd again, but you're not sure if it went through the entire cycle. Am i getting that? If correct I would honestly start over clean slate, so many question marks before leaving the starting gate will have you scratching your head should anything go south. Because we learn more from our failures than our successes, having any step of the process remain questionable (especially when grain spawn is incredibly cheap) will only hinder your ability to properly determine the point of failure, and that knowledge is incredibly invaluable to honing this craft and finding the weak spots in your game.
Or fuck it yolo, big sends

this is why I recommend weighing things, an extremely easy way to track moisture content.

Weight wise how much water content should be in the grain, let’s say I have 100g on popcorn fresh out the bag What should it weigh when properly hydrated

I would aim to get mine to 200g.
