How far we have come!
    #28475526 - 09/19/23 07:08 PM (1 year, 3 months ago)

I just started reading back into this world after being out of the loop for almost 2 decades... I just have to say I cannot believe how far we have come!

Amazon and mycology specialty stores seem to have transformed this landscape with products like autoclavable mason jar lids w/ injection ports and specialty monotubs.

Of course there is still the tried and true methods (Ohmatic's monotub, Doc's WBS, etc.)

Just wanted to say I am amazed at how this niche has changed and grown in the past decade!

Autoclavable mason jar lids with injection ports and specialty monotubs? Like the things you can make at home for way less money following the teks on here?
God I hate Amazon lol.

Wasn’t trying to be negative, I guess there are a lot of things about some of the changes over the past 10 years that don’t sit well with me, like the gross monetization and bastardization of the sacred relationship humans share with these mushrooms. In a lot of ways the changes are great and make these things more accessible to everyone, but with that comes a lot of different risks, as well as benefits, and I’ve learned to stay cautious because of it, as even now if they wanted to they could lock a person for years for doing this still, and I’ve seen too many people become Jesus Christ for a few weeks after not being careful with these things.
