Monotub is this too much condensation?

Monotub day 5. No casing later, yet. Does this look like too much condensation? Also showing a pic of what the substrate looks like though it's difficult to get a good view of it without taking a top off (which I have not done) with all the condensation on the sides and top. It's pretty clear around the covered fill holes which tells me there should be some air exchange, correct?

Hard to tell but looks ok. You can take the top off to take pics. Your sub is not gonna instantly dry out just because you opened it and took some pics. However, although the mini fans look cute, they can do more harm than good. If your sub dries out, that's the reason. Did you steal it from your raspberry pi? Lol. I would ditch it.

The fan isn't hooked up right now during colonization. Thought it may would help during fruiting?

Nope. Passive air flow is best. Pumping air into it will dry it out. Just use the holes and the lid to control FAE.

Thanks. Should I put a light casing of coir before preparing for fruit? Instructions I was going by says to but several posts I've read lately says no need. This is GT.
Thanks again

I opened the top for a moment to snap these pics. It's hard to get the true color with the lighting in the room. The darker pics are without flash which makes it look more yellow and whiter one one is with flash which makes it looks whiter than it is... No pins. This is the end of day 6, from grain bag.

Looks fine. Just let the passive FAE do the work. If it does not look like it is retaining enough moisture give it a light mist. A properly modded/unmodified tub should not need any additional misting until harvest.

Thanks. Yes there is plenty of moisture without me ever misting, lightly glistening on the top and condensation on the inside of tub.

If that is the case just be patient. Its hard, but it is necessary for this hobby.

Most people add 1/2" to an inch of sub as a pseudocasing layer right at spawn, but if you haven't already done it I wouldn't bother at this point.

Awesome, congrats! Might be the pic but it looks super wet in there. Be careful. There are no spots with pooling water, are there?

There were several spots with pooled yellowish looking water that I carefully soaked up with tissue. Unfortunately I did have a small area which looks like the beginnings of trich. I used some alcohol down clean wrap and a sterilized knife to cut a big spot out around it after salting it and moved the tub elsewhere since I'm still getting a lot of pins. Maybe I'll be able to get a few fruits before I see it pop up anywhere else.
